"It's ok, really. It's not like I miss him, just a bad memory, I thought it's just to let it be."

"You don't. . . miss him? At all?"

Vincent looks straight at me in the eyes, "What he did, I can never forgive him, let alone forget."

"Well, you're supposed to forgive in order to forget, you know?"

"It doesn't matter. Anyways, you gonna order something to drink?"

"Yeah, sure."

I got to order something called strawberry margarita. It was new for me to try, but it was pretty good.

"So what's up? Anything new? Exciting?" Vincent asks.

"Well, nothing much really. I'm in college right now, in engineering major. And I don't really work too oftentimes now, which is good. I can focus on studying more and having more sleep."

"Where do you work?"

"Uhh, just being a male model, the pay is good, and I only have to do it during the weekend."

He hums in response, "You dating anyone? Any relationship commitment?"

I got hesitant, "Uhh, hehe, sort of?"

"Just sort of?" He questions with a laugh.

"Well, it's. . . a start. I don't know how it will go, but we'll see."

"Is it someone I know?"

I can't tell him it's my former enemy in the past and that it was also his schoolmate since we all been to the same school. He'd kill me, or just you know, nag like a mother, giving me a million reasons why I should stay away from him. Gosh, everyone would be so against it.

"No, nope, he's new."

Vincent nods, not being suspicious about what I told him. He takes a sip of a drink.

"Ricky, I'm glad you got out of that héllhole situation years ago, or that I got to help you through it. As a friend, I want you to be happy for the rest of this lifetime. I hope you can forget all the worst things that has happened to you, and hurt you, so you can just live on with your life. Cheers."

I was honestly speechless about his words. I picked up my glass of strawberry margarita, "Cheers."

So we drank to that.

I set down my drink and asked, "Vincent, is there something going on? Be honest."

"Wow." He chuckles, you know me so well. And um, it's just, a few weeks ago, my friend took his own life, I'm pretty devastated about it. He had a rough life, I thought he was tell me the truth when he said it was getting better, it turns out he was just saying that in order to not make me worried. But I feel so stupid for not realizing it sooner, I felt something was wrong but I just shrugged it off, it's my fault."

"Vincent, I'm so sorry. Really. But you can't blame yourself for something that wasn't all in your hands. Maybe there was something we could've done to stop it, but we can never tell what was going to happen next. Please don't be so hard on yourself."

"You think he'll forgive me for not being there for him when I should have?"

"Yeah, I think he will. You're a good person, Vincent."

"Thank you." Vincent tried to keep up a smile, but it was a weak smile.

"Now, cheers, to your friend's soul to Rest In Peace and be in a better place." I give honor, raising my drink up.

Vincent raised his glass as well, the two glass clinked, and we drank. We kept ordering some more drinks and talked a little bit about stuff, some stories about our lives we missed out on with each other. Of course, I did not mention Hayden at all.

Vincent's phone rang, he looked at the screen and put on a worried face, he looked up at me, "Sorry, I have to take this real quick."

I nodded drunkenly.

A few minutes later, Vincent came back, "Ricky, I've got to go, it's an emergency back at home, will you be alright being here by yourself?"

"I'm fine~ I'll be fine~" I assured.

"Alright. The drinks are on me. Oh and don't drive, ok? You're too drunk. Call an Uber."

"I know~ just go do your thing."

"'Kay, be careful."

"You be careful."

He leaves in a rush, I finished my drink, I stood up, I mumbled, "What's he talking about? I can drive."

I found my car in the parking lot, I unlocked it and hopped in my seat and started the car.

Suddenly, a loud knock came in my window, I jumped and turned to my left, "Hayden! What the heck?!"

I hear some muffled words over the window as he tries to open my car door, "Open the door! Ricky! I'm not kidding!"

I didn't unlock the door nor rolled down my window, I pretended to not hear, "What? I didn't hear you. Back away, I'm leaving."

"Ricky. Ricky! Stop!"

I backed my car up out of the parking lot, I started driving forward. It started raining, "Awe, great!"

I was looking for my window wipers, when I look up, a car was coming my way, so I immediately steered right.

*Crash*

"Ricky!" A voice echos, "Ricky, are you ok? Ricky, wake up!"

"Ugh, what-?" I confusedly opened my eyes, seeing Hayden in sight, "My car. What happened to my car? Is it ok?"

"How can you be worried about your car right now you idiot?!" Hayden scolds me.

Then another realization hit, I gasp, "Is everyone ok? Did I hurt anyone?!"

"Ricky, calm down. Everyone's ok if you're ok. Are you good? Any headaches, hearing problems, anything like that?"

I drunkly shake my head, still feeling so tipsy, "How'd you get in my car? Didn't *hic* I lock it?"

"I smashed the window of the passengers seat."

I looked over the other seat, seeing the broken glass spilled on the seat, I groaned, "You owe me another car."

"Yeah yeah, let's just get out of here." Hayden says, trying to pull me out of the car.

I whined, "Nooo, I will stay with my poor car!"

"Ricky, don't be such a child. Come on." He still tried pulling me out of the car.

I moved to a position where I turned my body around and held on to my dear life on the driver seat so that Hayden wouldn't part me from it, "You go! I stay here."

Hayden laughs. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. It's barely good news when he laughs.

When I face him, his phone was held up facing me, as if he was recording me, "Stop it! Hayden!"

"Then come on."

I felt nauseous in the stomach, feeling that something had to come out, I threw up in the back seat where I was currently facing.

After I was done throwing up, I passed out.
