"So, how is she?" Inko asked.

"She's gonna be asleep for a while, I bet she hasn't had a decent, natural sleep in weeks." Recovery Girl said.

"And the black skin?" Toshinori asked.

"No idea. Midnight told me this was natural and I've never seen anything like this before." Recovery Girl said. "Did she ever get like this when she was with y- ... never mind."

"Ok I know I wasn't the best mother but no Izuku never had black skin." Inko said. "Cut me a bit of slack."

"Why don't we ask Dabi or Young Toga if they know?" Toshinori asked.

"Toga disappeared after the medal ceremony so we have no idea where she is. And Dabi hasn't been in the best mood after Toga lost, so I have no idea where he is." Nezu said.

"This will just have to wait until another day." Aizawa said. "Let's just let the kid rest, she's earned a good one."

The adults all left leaving Mido asleep in the med bay. Nobody else was in there, everyone been cleared to go home. The adults went around and cleaned up the stadium, as did the workers and some of the volunteers who wanted some extra yen.

Day turned to evening as the sun began to set. Once it was time to close down, Shota walked in and smiled. Izuku had somehow found the strength to move, because she was one turn away from falling off the bed. Her hair was everywhere and she was softly snoring.

"You are a weird one Mido." Shota said, sitting down. She took out her phone and played some soft music, then she propped Mido up and began to do her hair.

"You know, I always had a feeling that you were gonna rise above us. A girl bullied for being weak, training harder than everyone else, then she becomes the strongest. When you disappeared, that only confirmed that you left to get stronger." Shota said.

"But, it hurt you know." Shota said, cleaning Mido's hair. "Leaving without a word, just one day never showing up. Me waiting day after day, until you were finally reported missing."

"And it's really bothering me, that nobody else seemed to care. You disappeared without a trace and I'm the only one who noticed. It messed with my head, I almost thought I made you up. Everyone treated me like a stranger, like I was crazy for saying your name. I was only allowed to follow but never speak because all I talked about was you."

"And then Touya disappeared around the same time, and I just broke down. I couldn't take it, he was the only one in my family who saw value in me aside from mom. And ever since the incident with Shoto she..."

Shota paused and took a breath. Once she was done cleaning Mido's hair she dried it with her fire and began to braid it. Doing hair always calmed her and since Mido had a ton, this was like meditation for her.

"I really need to get into meditation." Shota said.

"I know a few guides that are good. I can text them to you if you want." A voice said. Shota turned and saw Katsumi standing in the door way.

"What are you doing here?" Shota asked a bit coldly.

"Waiting for you. Old h- ... Mom wanted to invite you to dinner." Katsumi said.

"Who will be attending?" Shota asked.

"My brother, your brother, Izumi, her parents, my parents and your dad." Katsumi listed.

"You didn't say your name." Shota said.

"I...I don't plan on going. I...need time away from...them." Katsumi said. "Sorry I just really need water."
