It had been a few days of searching for Wilbur, no sign of him anywhere and his phone was found smashed in a random field. They were doing everything they could... except letting Tommy have a 'normal' childhood.
"Phil, are you sure we should send Tommy back to school?" Techno questioned, a singular eyebrow raised.
"Tech, he's had so much time off because of everything that's going on. The teachers are concerned, Tubbo hasn't heard from him and he's missed so much work!" Phil said back.
"I think you should let him decide Phil. I know you want him to live a normal life, we both do but make sure he's ready.."

"Toms we need to talk." Phil said, sitting down on Tommy's bed.
"Sure? What's up? Is it Wil? Is he okay?" Tommy began questioning, words starting to blur together at the speed he was speaking.
"No, nothing like that mate... How would you feel about going back to school?"
Tommy hesitated and thought,
he hadn't seen any of his friends in such a long time and he was always stuck in the house, worrying about Wilbur. Atleast at school he had Tubbo, and all of his other friends.
Maybe, just maybe it wouldn't be the worst thing.
"You know what... sure." Tommy finally replied with and Phil nodded.

Tommyinnit: Coming back to school, any of you missed me?
Tubbo: TOMMY? I HAVE BEEN WORRIED SICK YOU ABSOLUTE ASSHOLE! BUT YES, I HAVE MISSED YOU.
Jack: About time king. Missed you big man. Doing okay? :)
Ranboo: Tommy, are you alright?
Tommyinnit: It's a long fucking story. Wilbur overdosed and was in hospital for awhile so I was with him.
Then i was supposed to come back after that but Wilbur was planning on going rehab so i wouldn't see him for ages so dadza let me have the week off.
Then he ran away to fuck knows where and i haven't heard or seen him since. Basically, life's fucked. But what have i missed?
Tubbo: Oh shitting fucks. I am so sorry Tommy. Do you want me to come over?
Ranboo: Tommy, i'm sorry, so sorry, are you okay? do you need anything? Im also free if you want?
Jack : Oh that's shit, sorry man. If you need anything please msg me. Can't rn but maybe in a bit if you're up for it?
Tommy smiled at his phone, he really did have some great friends.
"DAD! CAN BOO, TUBS AND JACK COME ROUND?" Tommy shouted from his room.
Phil smiled to himself, for the first time in ages, Tommy asked a normal question, a normal question that a teenage boy should ask. "Of course they can."
Tommyinnit : you're gonna see me in like 2 days. You lot are clingy.
Get your asses over here.
It took about 30 minutes for Ranboo and Tubbo to get there. They knocked on the door, smiles on their faces with snacks and drinks.
Tommy opened the door and returned the smiles straight away before pulling the two close into a hug.
"And we're the clingy ones," Tubbo joked, wrapping his arms around his friends.
Tommy shook his head, smirking, "You are the clingy ones."
Jack came about an hour later,
"Tommy you look like absolute shit." was the first thing that left his mouth when he saw Tommy.
Tommy stared at Jack for a second, even with his eye bags, ratty hair, pale skin and puffy eyes he looked so much better than Jack, "Ah that's alright, it means i still look better than you."
"What the fuck."
All four of them burst out laughing.
Oh how Tommy's missed this.
He loves Wilbur, he really does but he can't spend his life worrying about him.
Does that make him selfish? Honestly he didn't care. He deserved to be happy, right?
He deserved to go to school after missing almost an entire term, he deserved to laugh with his friends and take the piss out of Techno.
He deserved to have a better brother...
