Another sleepless night for Y/N, it was the third time this week. It's been getting easier with time but its still hard, it was now the fifth month living on her own. she coulve afforded a house if she wanted too, she just prefered the two bedroom appartment she had. most 24 year olds were in college or somthing but she prefered to take risks. there is no point in doing something she didnt want to, so she didn't. her parents weren't super happy about it but hey, its not like she had a great relationship with them in the first place.

you woke up at 6am to your alarm blaring in your ear. you got dressed, put on a ball cap, did your make-up and was out of your appartment by 7am. As you drove down the streets of las vagas you stopped at a small sweet shop to get some coffee before heading to the studio. As you walked out of the shop someone bumped into you, causing you to spill your drink. "Im so so sorry, I didn-!" you said trying to wipe off their jacket.

"Hey, hey, hey it was my fault I shouldve been watching where I  was going" he said laughing. "sorry about your coffee, can I buy you a new one?"

"Thats very sweet but im actually late at the moment." you said looking up at the man. he looked familiar but you couldnt figure out from where.

"Well then can i get your phone number, so i can buy you that coffee later?" he asked holding his phone out.

"I'll hold you to that." you said typing your number into his phone and passing it back.

"Oh I sure hope you do." he said smirking.

"yeah this is a nice chat but i really need to go." you said waving as you got into your car and drove off. you pulled into the studio parking lot and headed in. Taking off your jacket and hanging it up you sat at a desk and looked over the sheet of music you made late last night. you didn't understand, most of your songs were hits. hell even famous people knew who you where, you where girl in red after all. you listened to all your songs and then over lapped them, the ones that went well all had somthing in common. all of them where about someone, so instead of writing about someTHING you shoud write about someONE. as you wrote your song you focused on all the feelings you never wanted to express, you never got to express to them. after 6 hours you had not 1 or 2 but 3 different songs, all of them about different people in your life, where you didnt get to choose what you wanted because of them. you recorded the drums,  then the guitar and it only took 45 minutes to get it perfect. as you sat in the recording booth your manager gave you a thumbs up and the music started playing.

it was 10pm and you just got home. after your shower you microwaved some mac and cheese and sat on your bed watching netflix. after about an hour or so you turned off your computer and layed in bed, your eyes staring blankly at the ceiling. every time you closed your eyes you remembered you father and mother. you never understood why they didn't care about what you did. you got a 95% in math they wanted to know why you didnt get 100%. they would never satisfyed, and you where starting to understand that. this was probably the millionth time you fell asleep thinking about you parents and their unmeetable standards before bed. no matter what you did or what you thought of doing you could never get over the way they treated you.
