It's like an ant colony. Way more busy than Zerø had assumed, but he paid no mind to it as he rushes through security to get to Gate 47. Almost everything you could smell was coffee, the mocha-flavored drinks being everyone's energy source for the day. It would almost make you hungry- that is if you were hungry for dirty bean water.

It's the day of the infamous meetup. After this, nothing will ever seem to be the same. As of right now, you could compare Twitter to Zerø's heartrate- rampant, chaotic. Everyone knew that today was the meetup, and Icetwt (Danni's and Zerøs ship Twitter) was going FERAL. Their meetup was about four different trending tabs, 3 of them being something along the lines of "THEYRE MEETING".

They wouldn't have even known about a meet-up if Zero hadn't messed up his words on last night's regularly scheduled 'Trying to beat the world record in Minecraft' stream. He knows he'll never do it, not enough luck in the world to do so, but his fans like tuning in to hear him cuss out the piglins for not trading with him fast enough.

It became such a meme in the community he actually made merch of it that comes out at the beginning of February, but nobody knows that of course. Why would he announce it so soon? He could, of course, announce it now, but what's the fun in saying it's months away when he could start a stream by randomly going "Oh yeah guys, not sure if you're aware but new merch comes out tomorrow haha." Imagine the chaos Twitter would go into.

The pink-haired male checks the time on his watch as he finally makes it past security, the time reading '09:52'. He's late he thinks as he sprints towards all the different gates, passing by numerous people probably thinking 'why the hell is this guy so rushed?'.

The way his feet slap onto the ground reminds him of all the streams where he would slap his hands into the desk because Danni would push him into lava on accident, or all the times where he would jokingly smash his head into his keyboard to finish off a stupid joke. Now that he thinks about it, he realizes most of his happy memories are with Danni- and now, that he's here in front of his lover's gate, there's going to be another one.

There were a lot of people in the rows of seats in front of the gate, just waiting for the passengers of the previous flight to get off. It's going to be any second now before they do, and hopefully, Danni will be one of the first ones off.

Zero stands in the middle of the long stretch of building, people walking by him every second- pushing him back and forth. He knows he should move out of the way, but he could see the people coming out of the walkway from the plane easier from here and so he decided to stay put.

He's thinking about which way he should hug Danni when they first meet, if he should run to them or if he should let them run to him. The doors on the walkway open now, cutting him from his endless train of thoughts. People start to walk out with their carry-ons, but he doesn't see Danni so he waits.

And he waits. And he waits some more.

Before long, the waiting passengers start boarding, and it finally hits him that Danni didn't get off. He didn't get off the plane.

It's like his soul was crushed, then and there. So much anticipation, so much eagerness and childish excitement run down the drain like water from a faucet. So many sleepless nights of just daydreaming about scenarios of this moment right now just dissipate.

He knows that he'll be on the next flight, the next one from Indiana, but it still hurts for all of that excitement that was built up- ready to combust within seconds, just evaporate into thin air.

Why would Danni miss his flight? Was it an accident? Surely it must of been, but would he text Zero to let him know that 'hey! I missed my flight but ill be catching the next one!'. Wouldnt he? Or did he not want to come? Maybe the long and hard week where they didn't talk left them with doubts? Too many worries and maybe, just maybe, he didn't want to come at all.

It seemed like the normal conclusion until the pink-haired male was knocked down onto the slick tile. His head hits the ground first, and he can hear the giggly laughter coming from somewhere. Someones knocked him over and someone else was probably laughing at them, and the theory wasn't wrong.

Zero opens his eyes to look at who knocked him over, and he smiles.

"Sorry I'm late, I couldn't find my carry-on."
