My head was ringing like an alarm clock. I opened my eyes to very dim lighting and found myself in an unfamiliar place. It smelled exactly like Y/n.

I crept out of bed and looked around the strange room I found myself in. It was clean and looked like a room a girl would sleep in. More specifically, a room a girl like Y/n would sleep in. The door had a full length mirror hanging behind it and I took a peek at myself. I thought I would look wasted and dirty but I looked clean and I had on a baggy white tee with brown boxers. I looked like I'd just taken a shower. I smelled like it too.

I opened the door and walked into the living room. I found Y/n passed out on the couch. I immediately felt a pit in my stomach. The girl i tried so hard to forget and drown out was sleeping in front of me.

Like i was commanded to, I picked her up and walked her to the room I just exited from and tucked her in. If she really took me to her house while I was dirt drunk, washed me and clothed me then I owed her a big thanks. I also owed her a thank you to her face and not a note. I ruled that I would stay there until she woke up so she would kick me out after accepting my apology and money.

The feelings I had for her certainly hadn't left, seeing as I was as hard as a rock just from smelling her scent and carrying her to bed. If I was a pervert I would notice that one of her boobs popped out of her PJs. I sighed and plopped myself onto her couch.

I took a look around. It was decently sized and decorated for a single teacher living in Japan.

...

After a while of just sitting and staring at her black television screen, I decided to make breakfast.

I walked past a display clock and saw the time was 10:25 AM. I looked through her cabinets and refrigerator. i found the perfect ingredients for bacon, eggs, and pancakes.

After a while of just sitting and watching TV, Y/n finally walked into the living room.

"Good morning," I awkwardly said.

"You're still here?"

Her face scrunched up like she'd just seen a ghost.

"Yeah," I trailed off and broke eye contact, "thank you by the way."

"No worries, that's what friends are for." Her voice quivered.

A few minutes passed of us just looking at each other. Her head covering was sliding off her head, revealing rows of braids across her scalp. Her pjs looked like she'd just got done fighting a bear and her eyes still had crust stuck in them. She still looked beautiful.

"I made breakfast," I said, breaking the awkward silence.

She smiled, "thank you."

She looked around the room as if she expected something. I got the cue that it was time for me to leave. But before that;

"Why did you do all that stuff last night?"

The question threw her off. I saw her eyes widen but immediately lower like she just thought of something disappointing.

"Like i said, that's what friends are for."

I could see she was lying through her teeth.

"How long are we gonna keep doing this friend bullshit, y/n?"

She sighed and lowered her gaze, "what friend bullshit?"

"Acting like you don't want me, acting like we don't want each other,"

She turned her gaze away from me, "I don't want you."

"Friends DONT give their friends showers, baby." I said, a sly smirk plastered on my lips.

"So I was supposed to leave you on the floor?" She asked, "Nanami didn't even notice you passed out."

"Of course they didn't! They didn't have their eyes glued to me." My voice got slightly higher.

"How the hell..."

Her mouth flung open and her eyes widened.

"I was drunk, not blind."

I massaged my temples in aggravation.

"Stop playing dumb, mama,"

"I'm not playing dumb."

"I love you." I blurted.
