Tanjiro Kamado:

Second Gender: Kindhearted Beta

Scent: Warm Smoked Cedar Wood, pleasing and calm to anyone who smells it (almost mistaken for an Alpha scent)

Description:

Tanjiro's Omegan Instincts (motherly instincts) are slightly stronger than Alpha Instincts usually due to taking care of his siblings alongside Nezuko for a long time- when his sister had her first heat in the middle of school, he assisted by exuding pheromones to calm her down and lessen the effects. Once they got home, he offered to build her a nest, but Nezuko sharply declined, instead insisting on hoarding things she received from their friends to construct a nest.

Needless to say, Tanjiro stressed himself out immensely worrying about his sister's condition.

For five days, Tanjiro took care of and supervised Nezuko while she was in heat- now, Tanjiro is the only one allowed in Nezuko's nest so far due to her trusting him to bring food and other necessities while she is in heat- also because of the fact that his scent and his pheromones help her calm down. Because of this, Nezuko does not mind the fact she and Tanjiro share a room in the slightest.

He does not enter heats or ruts, but feeling the effects and smelling her sister's amplified scent does make him quite uncomfortable and spike his body temperature quite a bit. Symptoms include excessive sweating and spiked appetite, followed by a spike in pheromones.

Known for not having the possessive streak of an Alpha is comforting to whoever his mate may be. He does experience jealousy- rather than aggressively claiming them like most Alphas do, as a Beta, he instead steals clothes or other personal belongings from his mate with their scent on it.

Second Gender: Prodigious Omega

Scent: Maraschino Cherries and Gelato, always tends to put a giddy smile and a cheerful mood on the faces of anyone who smells it. The Gelato always seems to intermix with other smells that come into contact with it, sweetening it astronomically.

Alright- I feel like I should offer a bit more context on this one.

Nezuko first gained the urge to nest when she was around five. She didn't know why at the time- she just liked cozy places- and despite the fact that they were poor, Nezuko would hoard miscellaneous gifts or things found and keep them in her room alongside her technology and other scavenged stuff. It wasn't until later that her parents suspected she may be an Omega due to her habit of hoarding miscellaneous belongings she mysteriously found and keeping it in her room- Tanjiro found the habit to be quite adorable.

It wasn't until middle school, in the changing rooms that her slightly aggressive Omegan instinct began to show. One beta schoolboy known for being a skilled athlete and a particular jerk snuck into the area where Nezuko and a few other girls were changing. He shouted an offensive comment at them, and the moment Nezuko heard this coupled with catching a single whiff of the scent of burnt paper- the poor boy was already on the ground with Nezuko's foot planted on his chest. From what she was told by her parents, she was aiming a deodorant stick at his throat and screaming out incoherent phrases coupled with animalistic roars of fury.
