Hades god of the underworld
Persephone daughter of Demeter, Goddess of spring
Hades fell in love with Persephone
And decided to abduct her
Persephone slipped beneath the Earth
Hades stole her to the underworld
Hades refused to let her leave
He made her his queen
Demeter scoured the earth is search of her Daughter
The land suffered her neglect
She cared only about finding her Daughter
Persephone found happiness with Hades
Wishing to end Demeter's destruction
Zeus sent Hermes to bring Persephone back
Persephone longed to see her mother again
She Agreed to leave with Hermes
Not willing to let her go
Hades fed her a pomegranate
She ate six seeds
She was now bound to the underworld
She would forever spend six months of the year with Hades
The other six months will be spent with her mother
And Thus the seasons were created
