You know. I always wondered what my life could of been like if I was an ordinary girl.Like what if I did go to those parties my fake high school friends, -who only used me for my looks so they could get into those parties-, begged me to go to?
Maybe If I didn't spend my time with my nose in another book about human and animal psychology my parents wouldn't have been killed, and me taken to be tested on about my brain for 10 years.
Just maybe I could be ordinary?
But it's too late for that, cause now all those scientists are dead and Im the therapist of the Avengers.
Crazy I know. How did I get this far?
My thoughts were cut short by the opening of my office door.
Coming in was Steve, Tony, Nick Fury and some other guy I knew looked so familiar, I just couldn't put a name on who I was looking at.
But just like my thoughts my observations were cut short by Nick or Fury.... Nah I'll stick with Nick
'You know one of these days you're gonna get fired for calling him by his real name.'
No because deep down, even if he won't admit it I am the best therapist for this job. And last time I checked there weren't people lining up to deal with the mental problems of Two gods, one super soldier, two ex-assassins, an arch men, a Billionaire, a witch with a twin who has super speed, a Doctor with a big green friend, and a man in a bird suit.
'Ok fine you win that one'
I know. But back to the conversation at hand
"Doctor. Williams, sorry to come in such short notice, especially on your break, but it's urgent." Nick says, his tone may not be apologetic, having known him for so long you just know when he's being sincere.
"No it's fine. Not like I have anything better to do... no literally I have nothing else to do today." I reply blunt.
I here a slight mutter in the background.
"I'll let Steve and Tony explain why we're in need of your services" walking out he finishes with "Thank you again Williams"
"So what's so urgent?" I question. Waiting for an explanation for the uncanny stranger in my office.
I guess that was to tough of a question for both men, because they started stuttering, trying to find the right words to say. Good thing I know body language.
"Let me rephrase that, sense it seems to be difficult to answer at the moment. Why don't you all sit down on a chair"
Following my directions they all sit down on one of the various chairs, cushions, and couches in my office.
"Now I'll start the questions off with you" I say turning my attention to the long haired brunette, with blue eyes.
"What's your name?" I question cautiously.
I learned this method of characters and how somebody is feeling by asking them a simple question, and observing how they react.
He stares blankly at me. Not expecting me to draw the attention to him.
Instead of answering clearly he mumbles curtly, with me not hearing a word he's said.
Steve seeing my confused expression to the mans leisure mumble , answers for him
"This is James but we just call him Bucky.
