Samantha Kirby rolled over on her bed to cracked her eyes open so she could glance at her phone. She chose to ignore it. Hopefully it wasn't important.
Samantha(Sam) was 17 and a junior in high school. She was average at almost everything. The one thing that she wasn't average at was writing. She was getting Bs and Cs in every class except English. Her favorite hobby was to read books and write poetry, stories, and journal entries. Her looks were average also. Dirty blonde hair, green eyes, olive skin, and an inch think natural brown spot on the side of her face. Nothing too special. She was the kid who had few friends, but all close.
It was a Monday morning at 6:30 am- an hour and a half before school started- a half hour before she started getting ready for school.
Most people think that Monday's are hard and stressful for them. They can't even begin to imagine how hard it is for Sam. She has 5 other siblings-three younger, one older. All of them try to get in the bathroom quickest because despite 8 people living in her house, it only had one two bathrooms.
Her siblings are Gwen who was 19 and still living in her parent's house with the rest of her family while she went to college to be an archeologist. She had light brown hair and was about two inches taller than Sam while also the oldest child. Next there was Charley who was 14 and the third oldest. He was into video games such as Call of Duty, Pokemon, and Amnesia, etc. He was also a major reader. It was nice that Sam had someone to suggest and be suggested to books that are good and trade book with, because she knew no one else that she could with. May and Jay were both 11, identical twins, and total troublemakers. They got into trouble daily. Because May had a short haircut, she could easily present to be Cody, visa versa. Multiple times, they have switched identities for a whole day, and no one except their siblings have noticed. After those two were Cody who was 9 and a total nerd. He didn't like the outdoors, he spent most of his time doing homework, and he spends time reading books that are meant for people May and Cody's age.
Her eyes barley closed when her text sound sounded again.
