We walk up to the gates. Rick shakes it to see if they are sturdy.
"These are more sturdy than the other prison." Rick says.
Rick opens the gate and we all walk inside and the last person in closes it. We walk through a second and third gate closing it as well.
There were a couple walkers in the second gated area. We get inside the prison and we all have our guns ready for incoming walkers. If there were any.
I kill one. Glenn kills two, Maggie kill one, Rick kills two and daryl kills one. There weren't to many walkers yet.
"If there aren't many walkers, don't you think someone would live here?" I ask.
"There were three gates though." Glenn tells me.
"True. But doesn't it seem weird. We've only seen a little of ten walkers and for a prison this big, there should be more."
I'm actually worried someone is living here. It could be Nicholas and Aiden, or even Negan.
"Well we'll just have to find out." Ricks pauses. "And then we'll take this place."
We walk into a different cell block. There's no one here.
I'm starting to get a little dizzy. I feel like I'm walking all over the place but I think I'm actually walking straight because no one has said anything.
My vision turns black and I collapse to the ground. I feel the cold, hard concrete against my skin. That's the last thing I could feel.

I wake up in a bed. I look around. Carl and Maggie are in the cell with me.
"What happened?" Carl asked.
"I felt dizzy and then I just collapsed. That's the last thing I could remember." I tell him.
"You didn't drink the water, did you?"
"I guess that would've helped."
"Brooke! Why didn't you take any?!"
"Because you had barely any left and you needed it more than I did!"
"You needed some too!"
"Okay! You're right."
"I'll go get you some water." Maggie says and walks out the door. "How long was I out for?" I ask Carl. "Just over an hour."
"And you were waiting here the whole time?"
"Yea. I never left the room." I smile and he smiles back. Maggie walks back into the room with a full water bottle.
"You're dehydrated. You need to drink the whole thing." She says. I nod and start to drink. Maggie leaves the room. I drink more than half, there's about a quarter left. I hand the bottle to carl.
"No. Did you not just hear maggie? You need the whole thing."
"Yea and if you don't drink anything then you're going to become dehydrated. So take it. There's not much left anyway."
He sighs and take the bottle.
"Carl?"
"Yea?"
"Thank you. For this, for everything. Killing the walker behind me, taking care of me, everything."
"Thank you for everything you've done for me." He says back. We both sit in silence.
"Why did you stay in the room this whole time waiting for me to wake up?"
"Why is it so hard for you to accept the fact that I care about you? I would do anything for you."
I smile. "You've been the first person to make me do that in a while." I say.
"Do what?"
"Smile. I haven't smiled in so long."
"Well I'm glad to be the first." He smiles.
"Carl!" Rick yells his name from a different room. Carl starts to walk out of the room but I stop him and grab his wrist. He turns around.
"Wait." I say.
I stand up on my tip-toes and kiss him. He hesitates but kisses me back. He gently places his hand on my cheek.
I pull away. "You were the first for that too." I smile, biting my lip a little.
"I'm glad to be your first for that too." He smiles.
"Carl!" Rick says again. "I'm coming!" He groans.
I changed the cover to my story because carlgrimesedits is no longer working on this story with me.
