You can't talk back to the elders (whether they're your siblings, parents, or just anyone older). It doesn't matter what point you're trying to make. It doesn't matter if they disrespected you first. What matters is, talking back to elders is "vile". It doesn't matter if they're in the wrong. If you talk back, you'll always be the bad person.
