chapter 22- coma

Manik comes and saves nandini. They together fight harshad, neyonika and their gang. But at the end, Manik's gang's member betrays him and goes behind his back. Manan are successful in defeating the gang but neyonika shoots nandini.

"Once the smoke cleared out, I saw all hardhad's men, including him, dead and neyonika pointing the gun at me.

This time, I was planning to dodge it but at the end moment, she turned the gun towards nannu and shot her right above
her heart."

As soon as I saw neyonika had shot nannu, I only saw red. She killed her. She killed my nannu.

I quickly catched nannu before she could hit the ground. Once she was lying on thr ground, I looked at neyonika to see her smirking.

I laughed sadisticaly and said "you should have ran neyonika. You should have ran for the hills. My nannu has already made your poor excuse of an husband half dead, now it's your chance. "

I shot her exactly on that spot where she hit my nannu which caused her to scream in her annoying ass voice.

I then shot both her arms and legs and was about to start my torture when cabir shouting made me come back to reality "manik. She's breathing. There's life still left in her. Hurry up!"

I immediately froze and after turning to cabir and quickly telling him to take neyonika and  harshad to the dungeons, I picked up nannu in my arms and started driving to the hospital. Stay with me nannu. Stay for your mani. I can't afford to lose you. Not again.

I had come to the hospital which was owned by the malhotras. On my way here, I had already asked to arrange for the best doctors and get the OT ready so that nannu doesn't have to wait.

I didn't leave her hand until I was asked to wait outside thr OT. My heart was beating loudly. And I discovered a new feeling. The feeling of fear. The feeling on fearing that you'll lose the one you love the most.

Unknowingly, tears started flowing down my eyes and foe the first time in life, prayed. I prayed for you nannu. I prayed that she'll be here with me. I prayed that I wake up from this nightmare.

Please God, please save my nannu.

2 hours later
Cabir, mom and dad had came here and now we all are waiting for the doctor to come out. Mom was quite afraid of the new surroundings, but thankfully She warmed up to me and cabir.

She would innocently tell me about thr abuse and beatings she faced all these years Like a scared child would tell his mother stories.

I just hugged her. Few minutes later, the doctor came and said, "Mr. Malhotra, can I talk to you in private please?"

I nodded my head and followed the doctor to his cabin. Once we were inside I asked "what happened doctor? Is she okay?"

He sighed  heavily and said "manik we were lucky enough that the Bullet was not poisoned or didn't hurt any Organ. But excessive beating  lack of food and nutrition, dehydration and loss of blood made her slip in coma. I am sorry young man."

I looked at him at said just above a whisper "how much time is she gonna take to come out of it?"

Doctor looked at me and said "if in these 3 months she doesn't wake up, I'm afraid she won't be able to survive then."

I just nodded and bowed my head as a silence thankyou and went outside his cabin.

Because of those fuckers, my mom has lost her mental balance, dad had to go through so much, and my baby is in coma. Get ready Mr. And Mrs. Saxena. (Neyonika and harshad) hell's gonna break lose."

I was about to leave for the dungeons but cabir stopped me and said "not now manik. I had a talk with doctor. He said there has been certain improvements, and there are 40% chances chhoti can wake up in the next 2 hours. Listen to me manik. Just for these two hours, stop everything, and stay with your nannu. She needs you."

As much as I would love to go and torture those good for Nothing people, but cabir was right. I had to be with my nannu.

So after hugging cabir I went to nannu's room and saw her laying on the bed, pale, bandages everywhere, and needles pierced her soft skin.

I held her hand and said "please wake up nannu. Please wake up for me."
