chapter 17- hazel

Recap-
Manik asks cabir to accompany neyonika to dubai for her safety without her knowing because neyonika didn't want any security. Later cabir finds out about neyonika's truth and her and harshad being married. He feels guilty for not trusting his chhoti and chose neyonika over nandini. When he comes back, Maldini notices the change and confronts him about it. He tells her about the same and nandini says she has got the perfect plan.

my eyes went wide and i said in disbelief "harshad and neyonika are married?" cabir bhai just nodded and said " yeah but both have reasons. neyonika for money and harshad because neyonika was the only who could get manik to sign the papers."

after few minutes of thinking, a huge smirk spread across my face and i said "i have got the perfect plan."

Cabir bhai's eyes instantly lit up and he said "what is it?"

I shook my head and said "first of tell me, didn't you think why neyonika or manik for that wasn't able to recognize me?"

He shook his head yes and said "yes It has occurred in my mind."

I smiled and said "bhai the eye colour, which you're seeing right now, which is brown, it's not my real eye coulour. I am wearing lenses. Also I last met manik and neyonika before puberty hit me. My real eye colour is hazel. wait I'll show you."

Then I removed my lenses and showed bhai my eyes.

His mouth fell open and said "why do you wear lenses chhoti? Your eyes are so beautiful."

I smiled and said "that's the reason bhai. Mani's most favorite thing about me is my eyes. He wanted to hide them from the world. So he asked me to put lenses just before he left for london with neyonika. And now, if I don't wear lenses, he will recognize me."

Bhai nodded his head and said "I understand that. But how does this relate to neyonika?"

I smiled and said "you know how manik lived his neyo mom and he shares everything with her? So that only happened. And since hazel is the rarer colour. She would have found out."

He nodded his head and said "okay. No one last question. I remember you told me neyonika was the one who chose abusive parents for you. Then how did she not recognize them?"

I smiled, yet again and said "turns out they were not as bad as I thought they were."

Bhai just looked at me confused. I stared at the wall and said "they were forced. They never wanted to abuse me. That's why i would always see a hint of sadness in their eyes. There were hidden cameras installed all over the house. My parents already had a daughter. She was of my age. But I got to know, she was kidnapped by neyonika's men and was using her as a bait to make sure they hit me. One day before the contract Marriage, I found a note on the bathroom slab, it was the only place where cameras weren't installed. On that note, they explained me everything. After that, they told me that neyonika had threatened them to take me to some corner of the world where human trafficking is at its peak and drop me there, and if they didn't, they would sell their daughter. First they refused. So neyonika sold their daughter. However, the man she sold their daughter too, he was one of the local thugs of his area. So my adopted parents offered him money in exchange of their daughter. The thug said he wanted 6 crore. Hence the money they asked from manik. The reason neyonika couldn't recognize them was they weren't my abusive parents. They were their friends who played the role of the parents of pari singhania, the gold digger."

At the end of the it, bhai had tears. He hugged me and said "I am sorry chhoti. You had to go through so much."

I just waved him off and said "its no need bhai. Now listen to the plan."

As per the plan, I removed the lenses, and wore my sunglasses. I took the photo of me and manik that only him and I have, and went to meet neyonika.

I had already asked her to meet me in a deserted place. I quickly got into the car and went to meet that bitch.

I had reached the place and as expected neyonika was standing there. She looked at me and said "why did you call me?"

I smirked and said "I need some money. The money I got from contract Marriage is finished. Manik won't give me because he knows I married him for money. In return I'll do anything. I don't care if it's related to manik too. I just need my money."

At the end I smirked and forwarded my hand and said "it was nice doing business with you Mrs. Malhotra. Or Should I say, Mrs. Saxena."

She chucked and said "you too Ms. Singhania."

I smirked and said "or you should say Mrs. Nandini manik Malhotra." Her reaction was priceless she looked shocked.

I removed my glasses and showed her the photograph and said "surprise neyonika. And don't you worry. Everything has been recording. All the shit you said. It is been recorded now. You know audio and video both. That to on HD quality. Cool no?"

She tried to slap me but I stopped her. She then said "you little bitch! You always have to come in between me and my money. It took me years to brainwash manik. Now you're back. Stupid fucker."
