Chapter 2: A Run Through

Evan's POV

I was excited when I got cast for Tate on the show but I still couldn't stop thinking about Taissa. She's so beautiful, I really hope she got cast for a role, no matter which one it was. All I cared about was seeing her.

I was talking with some of the cast when she walked in. Little to no makeup I noticed. It's not like she needed it. "Evan? Evan?" Suddenly I was snapped out of my stare by Lily Rabe. "Oooo someone got a crush." She winked at me. "Yeah right" I chuckled jokingly. Taissa walked over to where we were standing and I hugged her. I don't know it just felt right. "Hey Taissa" "Hey Ev" Ev. I've met her once before now and she's calling me Ev. No one calls me that, I've always thought of it as some kind of stupid pet name. But for some reason when she says it I just want her to say it again and again.

Before we get the chance to talk everyone is called into a large meeting room. Taissa takes a seat next to me. "Sorry you probably think I'm being clingy." "No, no! You're fine Taissa" "It feels good knowing that I actually know someone here. And you can call me Tai if you want" "Alright Tai" I say smiling at her. She smiles back. In a matter of five minutes I think I fallen in love with a girl I've barely met.

Scripts are passed out and everyone starts to look through to get more insight on their character. I'm reading through the first couple pages when Taissa nudges my side. "Violet stahp" I kid with her. "Right away Tate the psychopath dead guy" she says winking at me.

Taissa's POV

The run through takes a couple hours and by 2:30 we've finished for the day. I cannot believe my and Evans characters fall in love. Hopefully I'll get to kiss him. He looks like he'd be an amazing person to kiss. On my way out Ryan pulls Evan and I to the side. "As you two have learned, your characters share a love interest on the show." "So I've heard" Evan says, smiling. I giggle. Ryan continues, "well I'd like you two to get to know each other a little bit better. Maybe grab some coffee or something?" "Sounds like a smart idea considering we'll be in love" Evan says. "Yes your Violet and Tate will be have love interest and will be very close to one another in almost every scene they share together." "Cool" I say. Ryan turns and walks away and Evan turns to me. "Unless you've got somewhere to be we could go now to grab some coffee" "Yeah, that'd be great!" "Great! I know a place down the road."
