Alex woke up to the wind rattling his crockety windows. It was a peculiar night. The wind was warm, but blew with a harsh force that was unbearable. He couldn't get an ounce of sleep, and he was worried. Something happened earlier that he just couldn't remember, but he knew that it was caused by his drunk actions.

She was sitting there. A pale face lit by the pounding and flashing of the lights. And every once in a while, he could see her fully beyond the dancing bodies around them. She was beautiful, and was giving him the look he thought he would never see on a face as beautiful as this one. Her eyes, were soft but daring. They wanted to put on a show, and her lips painted red. The color of  class. He wanted a daring girl like this, but he knew it would take a few sips of his liquor to give him the guts. She would not stop, and would not take a single second to break her stare. She was making "the eyes" at him. And he couldn't stop making "the eyes" at her. Or maybe they were just drunken eyes, maybe drunken lust.

Alex walked thru the crowd, pushing and urging past the bodies locked around him, and ended up at her booth. He was awkward. Hands in pockets, hair tosseled, and a crooked smile. Maybe even a stupid drunk face, he couldn't remember. She moved aside, smiling.

"Hello," she said with a simple finger in her unknown dish with whipped cream on the top.

Alex didn't know what to say for once. He usually never could shut that mouth of his, now he could barely pry it open. He gave a smile, and actually pushed something thru his chords.

"Hello, couldn't help but notice you.."

"What makes me different from the loud crowd?" She said, licking the cream from the tip of her finger.

Dear god, that was seductive. She knows all the right things to do doesn't she? A clever woman, he snickered to himself.

"You looked lonely love."

"I am. Have been to be exact. Make me less?"

He invited himself, and scootched beside her. The first thing she did was lay a sincere hand on his lap. And smiled. He knew this moment was risky, she was risky, she was beautiful. He had a few sips. Why not let this lead further?
