Chapter 1.

My alarm has been ringing off the hook all morning, my best friend Ashley storms into my room angrily.

Omg! Anda turn off that darn thing its annoying. Seriously you're making me hate Happy by Pharrel. I quickly apologize and get off my bed.

I'm sure you're all wondering why my bestfriend calls me Anda well my real name is Miranda, Miranda James I'm 26 years old and jobless though I have a degree in business. Ive worked in different places for the last 4 years. Where was I 4 years ago ? Well I was married to Jason DaCarter whom I now work for as his personal assistant and its my first day. I was hired by his old assistant so he hasn't met me yet. Ever since our divorce we haven't seen or spoken to each other even though I stalk him because I'm still madly in love with him. Well that story is for another time. I quickly head off to my bathroom brush my teeth and shower. I always do my hair and make up before getting dressed. I go for a simple natural look and pack my hair in a tight bun. I wear my nice underwear and put on my grey mid thigh pencil skirt a blue chiffon blouse my white blazer. On my feet I have my jimmy choos and I grab my blue Gucci handbag and quickly glance at my self in the mirror. I look sexy yet sophisticated.

I head downstairs where I see Ashley putting pancakes bacon egg and coffee on the table. I quickly sit and start eating.

"So, I wonder how Jason is gonna react when he finds out you're his new assistant" Ash says

"I'm a little scared but I need the job and I'll prove to him how good I am". I gotta rush to the office I have an hour left before he arrives" I say.

I grab my car keys and head over to the DaCarter Enterprise. I wonder how Jason would react when he sees me, we didn't exactly end our divorce well.

I arrive at DaCarter Enterprise 30 minutes before Jason arrives. Here goes nothing......
