Pokemon. It's probably the thing that impacted my childhood the most (also WOF but that's beside the point)
BUT
Something is seriously wrong with Pokemon
The protagonist is always ten. Nothing really wrong with that. BUT he/she manages to defeat a highly organized and technical organization of adults, then capture god like beasts (legendaries). So... in the Pokemon world all ten year olds are totally badass. AWESOME.
