Ren- Though they did not approve of him trying to reverse the law against music and dancing; they thought he was a gentleman and saw how good he treated you.

~"Look mom, dad; he's really so sweet. I know you don't approve of his protests, but he treats me so so well and he means a lot to me!" You urged, trying to convince your parents to approve of your dating Ren. Right as you were doing so, Ren came up behind you, "Ready to go babe?" He asked, leaning around you to kiss your cheek, then resting his hand on your shoulder. He looked up at your parents and smiled. Your parents looked at eachother before turning back to you and Ren and giving you both approving nods and smiles. "Thank you guys!" You cheered, giving them hugs and kisses on the cheek. Ren shook their hands, thanking them, and telling them he'd treat you right and they wouldn't regret trusting him.

Willard- They thought he was a very "nice, respectful, southern gentleman." They approved of him. They also thought his childish excitement towards you was adorable.

~"So what do you guys think of Willard so far?" You asked your parents hopefully. You were standing outside an arcade game booth, where Willard told you he'd win you "the bestest prize they have!" "I think hes very sweet." Your mom cooed. "I agree with your mom. Hes a nice, respectful, southern gentleman." You dad added, nodding. "Look Y/N! I won you the giant stuffed horse!" Willard yelled, running out of the booth and over to you excitedly. "Awee I love it! Thank you!" You exclaimed, smiling really wide and hugging him. Your parents looked at the both of you happily.

Dinger- they thought he was a fuckboy only with you to get in your pants. They really didn't like you being with him, but they tolerated him as he began to grow on them and prove their opinion wrong.

~"Here you go huni, let me take those to the sink." Dinger offered, taking the dirty dishes out of your hands and going to the kitchen. You looked at your parents like 'see? He's amazing!' Before picking up the rest of the dishes and going to help Dinger. He turned his head around as you walked into the kitchen and gave you a sideways smile. You smiled back as you joined him to wash the dishes. Your parents decided to peek in just as Dinger said, "I'll finish the last few, you can go sit with your parents and I'll be there in just a minute." And he kissed you on the forehead. You grinned and kissed him on the cheek before going to find your parents in the living room. They'd just barely made it there before you. You were still smiling as you sat down on the sofa across from them and your dad said, "Y'know sweetie, Dinger isn't as bad as we accused him to be. We see how sweet and caring he is toward you, and we really appreciate that." Your mom nodded at his words as he continued, "So unless he does something to break our trust, we approve of him." "Thanks guys! I love you!" You cheered, hugging them. Then Dinger walked in and sat beside you, putting his arm around you so you could cuddle into him happily.

Bill- They instantly thought he was the sweetest boy they'd ever met, and treated him like they were his own son. [Future son-in-law huh;)]

~"C'mon Bill, my parents are gonna love you!" You said, trying to calm his nerves. Cause with his nerves, came more stutters. Not that his stutters were a bad thing, you personally found them adorable, but he was worried they would give off a bad first dinner impression despite you saying otherwise. "B-b-b-but m-m-my st-stutter." He argued. "Oh bill your stutter is fine! It's absolutely adorable first of all, and second of all if you want it to calm down some then you have to calm down. You've met them so many other times and they love you." You said, putting your hands on his shoulders and looking into his eyes. He smiled back at you as you led him into the house by the hand. Once you walked into the kitchen your parents both turned and smiled at you. "Awe hey guys! Bill we're so glad you could make it!" Your mom said excitedly, as she came up to hug him. "T-thank you Mrs. Y-Y/L/N." He smiled back shyly. "Feel free to go sit down at the table, dinner is almost done." Your dad said, smiling. You both went and sat beside eachother at the table where you looked at Bill and said, "See? You're doing so good. And, as always, they love you." "Y-yea. T-thanks, you were r-right." He smiled at you with his sparkly blue eyes and goofy grin as your parents came and put the food on the table.

Teddy- your parents thought he was very strange, and questioned if they should've even let you near him in the first place. His father made them even more worried. But, he was a super sweet boy, so they allowed you to be with him.

~"Why don't your parents like me?" Teddy asked you one day, while you were walking to your house. "Oh Teddy, they do like you, they're just...."
"Scared?" He asked, finishing for you. "Scared I'm gonna turn out like my father and beat you or something? My father stormed the beaches at Nromandy." He asked, and then said the last part quietly; keeping his head down sadly. "I know he did. And look, they're just overprotective ok? But I know you'd never, ever, do anything of the sort. And they know that if I trust you, they can at least trust you to some extent. They're letting me date you for crying out loud." You had your arm around his shoulders and your other hand on his shoulder closest to you. "And I promise they'll never keep me away from you, ok?" You asked. He looked up at you and smiled, nodding. You then pecked his lips as you walked up the steps and into your house, where your parents greeted you both, happily. You both appreciated their kindness, despite knowing their true thoughts on Teddy.
