Error turned around swiftly, narrowing his eye sockets when he saw the three damned members of the Star Squad: Ink, Dream, and Blue.

His attention was fully directed on them now as the familiar fighting landscape swallowed all four of them up into its void-like darkness. He saw the three whip out their weapons: a paintbrush, a bow, and a strongly-composed bone respectively.

The battle started off with a swing from Ink's brush, and Error managed to dodge the splatter of red, sizzling paint before moving out of the way of Dream's arrows. He was forced to run across the landscape, ducking and swerving around all the attacks that were thrown his way until he managed to summon some bones of his own.

With the jagged, broken edges of the bones in his hands facing forward, he changed his way of direction sharply and was jumping at Blue within moments, the bones pointed straight towards Blue's skull.

The Underswap sans had barely enough time to react and hold out his arms in a blocking manner, the momentum of the attack making him skid backwards, yet Error was forced to move back as more blue arrows were shot in his direction.

His expression morphed into one of steely focus and determination, bounding towards Dream as he let go of the bone attacks and instead pulled out his strings. Sliding behind the Dreamtale sans, he stopped himself and pulled out Dream's soul, tying it up to the inconsistent ceiling of the battling background before he felt something burn against his side.

He grimaced in pain, before looking at his attacker with angry eyes. Ink smirked in return, but that was all that he saw of the creator when fast-moving lines of bones erupted from the ground below him. Error jumped up on a gaster blaster and allowed it to move him backwards, before quickly swinging it around to face Blue and blasting them with it.

When seeing the Underswap sans lay on the ground, unconscious, he noted that all he needed to do now was to take out Ink. He turned his gaze towards the creator, when he noticed that particles of the battling background were starting to float up into the air.

He was running out of time to finish this. If he didn't get out of this AU in the next 5 minutes, he would be tumbling into the void alongside it.

He gave out a heavy sigh. He knew well that he wouldn't be able to deal with the damned squid in time. It seemed as if Ink were thinking the same thing, for he saw him look around frantically at his disintegrating surroundings before splashing black paint on the ground and sliding through, leaving Error behind in the crumbling mess of an AU.

Error was about to make a quick escape as well, when he noticed the two figures still lying on the ground. Not only did it remind him of the fact that he hadn't been able to put down the rest of the souls in this world, but it also showed how uncaring Ink could be to his fellow comrades, usually only caring about himself above others if he hadn't of drunken a specific vial of his paint recently.

"ƓØÐÐΛ௱ЛɪŤ, ɪЛҚ." ("Goddamnit, Ink.")

Giving out a hefty sigh, he quickly summoned his strings and transferred a conked-out Blue to his indirect grip whilst grabbing Dream's captivating strings as well. He managed to hop back into the Anti-void through another portal just as the terrain behind him fell into the gaping void below.

He exhaled with relief, making sure to secure the two Star Squad members to the Anti-void's roof before flopping onto the blank floor, exhausted. He hadn't had a close call like that in a long while, and the last time that it had happened was when Ink had suddenly decided to go all-out on him. It was amazing that the creator had managed to stall Error for so long as to wait until the AU was on the very brink of collapsing.

With great bouts of luck, he was able to get through the rest of the day without any dutiful interruptions, and by checking Dream's and Blue's code, it appeared that they would not be returning to consciousness until late afternoon tomorrow.
