*Scarlet's POV*

"Scarlet, I really need to talk to you," Caitlyn ushered, grabbing my hand and pulling me into the nursery before shutting and locking the door behind us.

It's been a week since she came over while the boys were at the studio, and I haven't seen her since then until now. She wasn't the same as she was though a week ago. She seemed different, and I just couldn't put my finger on it. There's something she's not telling me.

"Caitlyn, chill out. What's wrong? Why are you so nervous?" I asked, watching her as she paced around the small room, running a hand through her long shiny brown curls.

She was really freaking out, big time. Her face was as white as a ghost, little beads of sweat forming at her hairline on her forehead. Her facial expression was full of fear, pain, and clear unease.

What's wrong? What happened that she wasn't telling me?

She finally stopped pacing for a moment and looked at me, millions of mixed emotions in her bright green eyes. "I..I'm.."

I walked over to her and took her hands in mine, looking into her eyes comfortingly. "What is it, Cait? Whatever it is, you can tell me. Nothing's going to change our bond that we have, and you know that."

She let out a shaky breath and shook her head, causing her loose curls to fall in front of her face. "I'm not so sure about that, Scar.."

"You can trust me. Please, tell me what happened," I said softly, eager to know what was wrong so I could help her through it, whatever it is.

She closed her eyes tight for a moment and took a deep breath, before opening her eyes and saying the words that I was definitely not expecting to hear.

"I'm..I'm pregnant."

As soon as the words left her mouth she crumpled to the ground, broken sobs racking her body as she cried into her hands.

My jaw dropped open in shock and surprise, my breath hitching in the back of my throat as her words replayed themselves in my head.

She's pregnant?

Caitlyn's pregnant?

It can't be, it just can't.

Her and Wes never did it,..or did they?

I looked down at her fragile looking body, so weak and filled with tears. I bent down so that I was on eye level with her, and unhesitantly wrapped her in my arms, letting her cry into my shoulder.

Caitlyn buried her face in my shoulder, her tears soaking my pale blue tee. I rubbed her back reassuringly as she let all her tears out, shock still overtaking my body as I thought of the words she said once more.
