RavenClaw POV
I stood next to Rocket as we watched Drax bored the ship where Quill and Gamora were being held.
My arms were crossed.
"You know I could have transported all of us inside that ship." I said watching
"Yeah then what we all get surrounded and captured as well I don't think so. thanks kid but no thanks leave this to us adults." Rocket said
I just rolled my eyes.
"Attention, idiots. The lunatic on top of this craft is holding a Hadron Enforcer." Rocket said
[we see Drax in a space suit standing on top of the Milano holding a weapon]
"It's a weapon of my own design." Rocket said
"If you don't hand over our companions now, he's gonna tear your ship a new one. A very big new one!" Rocket said over the loud speaker
"I'm giving you to the count of five. Five, four, three... " Rocket said
"Rocket, it's me, for God sakes! We figured it out! We're fine!" I hear Quill over the com link
We all bored the ship
we were all standing in a circle as Quill explained.
"You call that "figured it out"? We're gonna rob the guys who just beat us senseless." Rocket said
"Oh, you want to talk about senseless? How about trying to save us by blowing us up?" Quill said
" We were only gonna blow you up if they didn't turn you over!" Rocket said
" And how on earth were they gonna turn us over when you only gave them a count of five?" Quill said
At this point I'm standing next to Groot
"Well we didn't have time to work out the minutiae of the plan. This is what we get for acting altruistically!" Rocket said
"I am Groot." Groot said
"They are ungrateful." Rocket said
" What's important now is we get the Ravagers' army to help us save Xandar." Gamora said
" So we can give the Stone to Yondu who's just gonna sell to somebody even worse?" Rocket said
" We'll figure that part out later." Quill said
" We have to stop Ronan." Gamora said
" How?" Rocket asked
"I have a plan." Quill said
I arched my brow.
"You've got a plan?" Rocket said not convinced
"Yes." Quill said
" First of all, you're copying me from when I said I had a plan." Rocket said
" No, I'm not. People say that all the time, it's not that unique of a thing to say." Quill said
" Secondly, I don't even believe you have a plan." Rocket said
"I have part of a plan!" Quill said
"What percentage of a plan do you have?" Drax asked
" You don't get to ask questions after the nonsense you pulled on Knowhere." Gamora said
"I just saved Quill." Drax said
"We've already established that you destroying the ship that I'm on is not saving me." Quill said
" When did we establish it?" Drax said
" Like three seconds ago!" Quill said getting annoyed
" I wasn't listening, I was thinking of something else." Drax said
[in frustration]
"Oh!" Gamora said
"She's right, you don't get an opinion." Rocket said
[to Quill]
" What percentage?" Rocket said
" I don't know, twelve percent." Quill said
" Twelve percent? " Rocket said
[Rocket laughs out loud]
"That's a fake laugh." Quill said
" It's real!" Rocket said
I sighed getting annoyed.
Groot put his hand on my shoulder
"Totally fake." Quill said
" That is the most real, authentic, hysterical laugh of my entire life because that is not a plan." Rocket said
" It's barely a concept." Gamora said
"You're taking their side?" Quill said
" I am Groot." Groot said
I nodded with Groot.
" So what, it's better than eleven percent? What the hell does that have to do with anything?" Rocket said
"Thank you, Groot. RavenClaw Thank you. See? Groot and RavenClaw the only one's of you who has a clue." Quill said
[Quill turns to see Groot and me Groot starting to chew on a leaf protruding from his shoulder, Quill shakes his head and Rocket chuckles]
"Guys. Come on. Yondu is gonna be here in two seconds. He expects to hear this big plan of ours. I need your help. I look around at us, you know what I see? Losers. I mean, like, folks who have lost stuff. And we have. Man, we have. All of us. Our homes, our families, normal lives. And, usually, life takes more than it gives, but not today. Today, it's given us something. It has given us a chance." Quill said
We all look at each other
