It had finally turned night-time, Schlatt smiled, knowing soon he'd come out. Ever since the accident where he accidentally slaughtered him, he had been oddly obsessed with him. His ghost, he was so kind.. He wouldn't dare speak back to him like before.
He would do anything he asked, always eager to please his husband. He'd whisper kind words to him at night, giving the ram some actual company.
He waited in his room for the ring of the phone, the tapping on his bed frame, and the goosebumps he'd get that would rise the hairs on his arms. He soon got upset, his pumpkin was a minute late. It felt like years before it happened.
He saw the configuration of his dead husband, his face was grey, wearing a blue sweater along with some black jeans. He said nothing, not wanting to make Schlatt freeze from his breath.
Schlatt patted his bed, watching as his lover layed on him, slowly cuddling him. Schlatt almost always returned it, the cold feels of Alex's wings being the first thing he had touched.
"How have you been, darling?"
The frozen, almost broken voice of Quackity's spoke.
"It's been so shitty, I only crave your touch now. I hate that you always leave by morning, why can't you stay with me all the time?"
Alex had blinked away a few tears. His spirit just clung to Schlatt.
"We can't be seen together, the others think I faked my death and ran away.."
Chills ran through the ram, Quackity looking at Schlatt. "I'd take my shotgun and go kill them all if that meant I could have you all the time, sugar."
The spirit gasped, hearing a slight creak outside the room. It just clung to
Schlatt, whispering.
"Tubbo is listening again, love. Stay quiet for me, please?.. I'd hate to leave you early."
The ram stayed silent, keeping his dead lover close to him.
