I woke up in the hospital. Morgan was there. He looked up as I stirred, and when I opened my eye, he smiled. He said "Can you hear me?" really quietly. "Yes." I tried to say, but my voice cracked too much, so I nodded, just to he the point across. I realized that moving my head that much was not a good idea. My long blonde hair kept getting in my face and my head felt like it was splitting in two. He chuckled then said "I really am truly sorry for the way I've been acting. I don't hate you, I was just, angry." his voice sounded apologetic, and, knowing what I wanted to say, I couldn't, I half smiled at him. He chuckled again then asked, "So we're good?" I half smiled again, and slowly (and else painfully) nodded. Morgan smiled then got up and signaled for a doctor. After Morgan was satisfied that I was in good hands, he left the room and called somebody. I saw him laugh, then hang up. When he came back into the room, I tried to speak again, this time, more successfully. "How long have I been in here?" I asked him, my voice hardly cracked at all. His face grew grave and said "Four days" I understood. "Am I in Quantico or Maine?"

"Quantico. Everybody's gonna be here in about ten minutes. Everybody including Garcia."

"Did you find Jessie Kendell?"

"Yeah. She's gonna live."

I smiled. "Is Janice..." I knew the answer before I asked the question, I just had to be sure.

"Yes. And the Chief pulled the trigger on himself."

"It's not fair." I said my voice full of hatred. Surprising not only Morgan, but myself as well

"What do you mean?" he asked, bewildered

"They shouldn't have gotten out so easily." I said, quieter this time. He sighed. "Yeah. I get it." then the rest of the team appeared. A look of relief flooded JJ, Reid and Garcia's faces when they saw me awake. Rossi just smiled and Hotch sort of half smiled.

I realized then, what I had begun to doubt in the cabin int he woods. That there are actually people on this earth who care about my well-being, and care of I live or die. I have finally met people whom I can trust.
