Liyuh's head jerked back at the sight of his hand waving in her face."Your problem?"
Jahseh could only stare at her with irritation obviously masking his face. "I'm not arguing with you.", he simply spoke. Liyuh looked at him and sucked her teeth.
"I just think it's so cool how every time you guys go out and do stupid shit, people blow up my phone and you guys come straight here."
She turned around, now facing the kitchen. The look on her face told it all. She meant what she said, and it was true. There was no reason she felt like she needed to take up for her opinion either.
This caused everyone to look at her. Ski shrugged it off, he honestly didn't care whose house they could've gone to. That was on Jahseh and Isaiah. Isaiah looked like he was about to say something, but Jahseh spoke up first.
"You think I tell people to text you? You ain't the only one. You're just the only one bothered by it.", Jahseh shrugged.
He raised his hands up, giving her the "Oh well" face. And just like that, they broke out arguing. It was something that neither Stokeley or Isaiah understood. They argued like cats and dogs every five seconds because of some shit Aliyah would "blame" Jahseh for, but they were still as close as bread on butter.
"If it's a big problem all of a sudden then what you want us to do? We can fuckin' leave if you got a problem with us coming here.", Jahseh replied with attitude as he threw his hands up for the second time.
Liyuh rolled her eyes to the back of her head. "It's always been a fucking problem! I have no problem with you guys coming over, but it turns into a problem when im tryna' do good n shit and suddenly y'all wanna start tweaking the fuck out! Doing stupid shit and running straight over here!", she started screaming.
Jahseh was visibly getting angrier and angrier. His face looked meaner, his eyebrows furrowed. Somebody else finally said something and it was obviously Isaiah. "Nobody runs to you! Who comes over when we ain't over here?!", Isaiah asked.
Liyuh looked over at his direction. "If it's not y'all it's your friends! And that shit falls on me every goddamn time!"
Isaiah shook his head, getting up out his seat. "You tripping, man."
"At this point you just don't want me over here. That's what I'm hearing.", Jahseh chuckled as he started walking off.
"If I'm trippin then why do I always have people I don't even talk to ask about what y'all did every other day? Cause they already know where y'all go. To my house. That's all I'm saying.", Liyuh retorted.
She turned around and took her phone off the counter before finally turning it on silent. It had been going off the entire time, just not as loud as before. Stokeley, who'd been silent this for the past 5 minutes eventually said something.
"I mean, I kinda get what she saying.", he said with confidence.
Even though Aliyah wasn't really close with ski, he got the point she was making. Everyone in that room knew Liyuh well. They knew good and well the relationship she had with her mother and why it was so shitty. Her mother saw Liyuh's friends as a bad influence, but in her eyes it was just fun. Usually, it wasn't Liyuh doing crazy shit, but she did at times. It was Jahseh. Stokeley knew Jahseh since size 5 shoes, and he knew exactly how Jahsh was.
Liyuh and Jahseh were just so close with one another that they didn't understand the dynamic they had. He'd do something, she would follow, then shit broke out. The second Aliyuh did something on her own, her mom would blame it on Jahseh and the way his mom raised him. It never failed.
Jahseh rolled his eyes at Stokeley's comment but didn't say anything. Isaiah started picking up his shit before he replied. "You on dick."
Just like Jahseh, Stokeley didn't say anything either. He started getting up as well and scooted in his chair. "So y'all just gonna leave?", Aliyuh questioned.
She looked at Jahseh and Jahseh looked back at her. At that point he felt like cussing her out from head to toe. He stared for a moment and took a deep, piercing breath before stuffing his phone in his pocket.
"I gotta go see my girl anyway."
Aliyuh shrugged. The situation had died down so she chose to leave the matter alone. She knew he'd end up right back over there by tonight and vice versa anyway, she could care less. She started making her way to the front door and the three boys followed her.
Her finger fiddled with the lock til the door opened wide, all three of them wasted no time in leaving. Jahseh turned around, chuckling at the fact that she had slammed the door on them.
"Fuck that.", Jahseh shook his head as they all walked off the porch.
"I don't even know why you brought us over here. Ski I don't even know why you agreed with that bullshit, fuck that forreal.", Isaiah ranted.
Stokeley stopped in his tracks and stared at Isaiah as he walked down the sidewalk. "My nigga you acting stupid as fuck right now."
Isaiah turned around and scrunched his face "Naw yo ass be on that bullshit. That's why I don't ask for yo backup on shit."
As the two continued arguing, Jahseh started drowning out the bickering. He was already pissed enough. Neither of them were helping, in his opinion. He had his face in his phone as he walked. He tried calling Annie, but she didn't answer. That only made him even more irritated. The sun beamed on their heads, it was hot as hell outside.
"Can y'all shut the fuck up and come on!", Jahseh yelled turning around to look at the two.
"Damn.", he muttered to himself.
He continued to try and get in contact with his girlfriend
