LONG CHAPTER HOLY SHIT
continuation with their current ages !

"Michael, seriously if you don't feel comfortable going than you should just stay home. You can even come over and we can play video games!"

Melanie and Michael were waiting by the schools entrance, talking. They've been talking for a month now and the pair were closer than ever, considering Michael didn't have any friends at the school after the blonde graduated.

There was obvious chemistry between the two. They participated in minor acts of PDA, like hand holding, cheek kisses, and those gentle smiles that drive either one of them crazy.

School yard crushes. They knew, but they didn't say.

"I don't know Mel.. I feel like he'd be upset if I didn't show up." Michael responded, kicking at the ground with his shoe.

Approaching was Luke's 20th birthday and the blonde has invited his bestfriend over for a party. He also invited a few.. a lot of college friends as well and Michael just knew the amounts of alcohol and drugs there were to be at this party was concerning.

Well, at least for the red haired boy, he's under aged.

The younger boy was expressing his concerns to his girl crush, conflicted on whether he should go or not.  Recently however, the two boys barely spoke. There was this invisible drift between the two.

How did that get there?

Doesn't matter. It's okay, they're okay, right?

"Well he's one shit friend for putting you in this position, knowing your stance and comfort levels." The black haired girl replied, watching the 17 year old closely.

Michael knew that Luke knew his comfort levels, Melanie was right. But hearing her speak so poorly of him rubbed Michael the wrong way.

"He's the bestest friend I could've ever asked for Mel, please don't speak about him like that." The boy replied, now playing with his fingers.

It was a nervous habit, he was nervous. He really liked Melanie but he had to admit, he still liked Luke more.

He was his bestfriend, she was just a crush.

The girl sighed and nodded, nudging the boys shoulder gently.

"M'sorry Mikey, I just don't want you being pulled under there, you know?"

"Yea- unless.. you'd wanna go with me?"

The girl blushed as a smile crept up on her face, she turned around while pretending to think of an answer when she already knew.

"Hell yea I'll go! We'll try to make the best of it, and if it goes badly, then we can-"

The two jumped mid sentence with a car horn going off, quickly turning to see who it was, none other than the devil himself.

"Let's go Michael! I promised your mum you'd get home in one piece!" The blonde yelled out. Students all around turned to watch the situation go down and Michael couldn't hide his embarrassment.

With fiery red cheeks, he waved Melanie goodbye before running up to the car, getting inside.

Luke spent no time before speeding off, a sly grin settled on his gorgeous face.

Luke really is a gorgeous specimen Michael thought.

"You know you could've just messaged me right?" Michael whined, turning his face towards the window.

"I know, but that girl is such a drab. Seriously Michael, you can do better." The blonde commented, drumming his long fingers against the steering wheel.
