Kaname's POV
I sat in my armchair across from my little sister, Yuki.We were in the middle of a game of chess when she moved her white king stupidly in the path of my rook.
"Little sister, did you not see my red rook here?" I chuckled, taking her king with my rook.
"EEEHHH!?!?!?!" Yuki screeched.
I chuckled before glancing at the clock and frowning. It was 10 pm. It was the holidays and everyone had gone home so she didn't have to patrol for the next few weeks.
"Sieren?" I asked.
"Yes, lord Kaname?" She said getting up from the sofa. Throwing her book at Aido who sat next to her. It hit him in the face. Hah. Serves the 'idol' right.
"Send for that Kiryuu, he is to walk Yuki to her dorm." I replied.
"Of course, dorm leader Kuran." She said before bowing, she then turned to leave.
I reset the peices while Yuki took a book from the shelf to read.
Aido sat there rubbing his head from the book that hit his head.
"Kuran." A cold voice stated.
I looked up to find my Kiryuu standing barefoot in the doorway, wearing a tight grey top and baggy grey pyjama trousers. I eyed him thoughtfully.
"Yuki. Are you ready? Or do you want to stay a while longer?" He said to Yuki.
"Oh do stay. Kiryuu, sit. Why do you stand? Did I not invite you into my dorm room?" I said calmy.
Kiryuu walked over to my sofa and sat down slowly, rubbing his face.
I walked over to the sofa.
"Aido. Feet off the sofa. How many times, it's not even your furniture!!" I said coldy, making the boy quickly move his legs away, weeping.
As I sat down, Kiryuu flinched.
"Kiryuu?" I questioned.
He shivered ever so slightly, not enough for the others to notice, but it was like an eathquake to me. What? Did he need to feed or something?
I reached out to touch his shoulder. On impact, he shot up.
"Y-Yuki. We're leaving now." He stuttered.
"Oh... okay. Bye Kaname nii-chan" Yuki said waving at me before following Kiryuu out.
"All vampires should fear and respect me, yet you bear you fangs at me with no hesitation." I state calmly.
"What?" he questions.
"Why?" I answered.
"It doesn't matter who you are. It's what you are that I'm bothered with. Yuki. Let's go." He replied.
I sat there for a while, trying to understand what just happened.By now, the other vampires had left. Leaving me alone in my room.
An idea struck my head. Good.
I walked to my wardobe and slipped off my clothes and picked out a new outfit. Dark blue jeans, white shirt, black hoodie. Perfect. Something comfortable and easy to move in.
I slipped on the outfit before pulling some high tops off the shoe rack. I slid them on before heading to the main enterance of the dorm.
I continued through a pair of doors between the stairs that led into a hall adorned with ornaments. Sieren sat at a table talking with Ruka.
"Sieren." I stated.
The girls looked up.
"I'm going out for a while, don't follow me unless it's an emergency. It's important."
