"To the south of what is now Alaska in the middle of the American Palaeolithic, a tribe of primitive humans had traveled vast frozen lands in search of better hunting areas, it is here that a little girl was born, and her crying started spring.

The girl was what they knew as a hybrid, and her eyes had a disease that made her see the world covered in mist, all her fellow men viewed her with contempt, with the exception of her mother. who protected her.

During her early years she was close to her mother and the women of her tribe, and as far as her poor vision allowed, she observed everything they did, and later copied it perfectly, the girl learned everything about the collected, the stone and bone tools, as well as the correct use of herbs for healing, he was even able to copy some of the hunting techniques that he managed to distinguish, confirming his efficiency by giving his mother a basket full of small animals, they were days happy, but they wouldn't last.

One day, at the end of her third winter, her tribe was attacked by a saber-toothed tiger, the attack was swift, and it claimed many victims, including the life of the girl's mother; Faced with such a catastrophe, the survivors made a decision, packed everything they had, and returned to their migration, leaving behind everything they considered a burden, heavy skins, broken tools and the hybrid girl, a decision cruel, primitive and above all stupid... they would never know the wonder they had left behind.

She survived the rest of the winter, rationing the leftovers they had left behind, and when spring came the girl began to search for food and materials, but beyond that, she found a way to repair the broken tools and reuse the parts. She was able to discover, build and implement complex systems of ropes and pulleys to create traps with which he obtained meat; With the parts of the animals and remembering what she had seen of the adults, I create strings, needles and threads.

By summer, he had mastered the secrets of fire, and set up a cave as a refuge with galleries that served as storage for tools, furs, and food, and was even able to create more efficient traps that compensated for his physical limitations for hunt.

With the autumn, the girl had not only managed to survive, but had come to subsist, and even as food and resources began to be scarce everywhere, she had managed to collect enough to survive for months or years, if he had the chance, but his real test was about to begin.

As their fourth winter arrived, the carnivorous beasts reappeared, and desperate for hunger and scarcity, they turned their gaze on the smallest creatures, even a huge tiger yearned to be satisfied with the meat it had tasted last winter, but this time they were waiting for it.

That was a particularly icy night, even the river had frozen, that huge saber-toothed tiger, guided by memory, crept up to the settlement of those weak bald creatures, moving noiselessly under the cover of night, when suddenly his foot got caught with a strange branch that made some bones that were tied to it rattle and hit each other.

The sound woke up the girl, she had placed those ropes and bones as a primitive alarm that warned her when a creature was approaching, suddenly the tiger was released breaking the rope, and throwing the bones to the ground, at that time, the girl did not she knew what it was, but if she knew that whatever it was was coming, it was big, and it was coming for her.

The tiger accelerated his pace, confident of his strength and his previous experience with those creatures, but instantly he encountered the traps of the little bald monkey, which although they managed to incapacitate him, could not stop him, forcing the girl to fight armed only with a few stone knives, a spear and covered with a heavy and resistant tiger skin, the only remaining memory of her tribe.

During a journey of almost two kilometers, the girl forced the ferocious beast to chase her through the traps that she herself had placed, even despite her poor vision, she managed to move easily through that labyrinth of trees, but in the end, the tiger managed to reach her at the edge of the cliffs, and full of rage and wounds he threw himself on the girl with the intention of ending her life, more with the same tenacity, the girl advanced towards the tiger in mid-flight and stabbed her spear into the chest of the beast, ending his attack and allowing inertia to throw him over the precipice.
