*Recap*
Dad walked in and closed the door behind him and came to give me a hug. "Whatever it is, just know that I will always be here for you."
"I wish I could believe that."
*End Recap*
"Why do you say that? I'm your father, and I will always be here for you."
"Because I feel with this, you might not be. And honestly, I'm worried. Not only for me, but for him."
"What do you mean 'him'?"
"Shit. Look, I don't want to talk about it right now. Or ever, really." I looked down as a few tears started to fall.
Dad lifted my chin and wiped the tears away. "Ky, it's going to be okay. You're my son and I love you so much. Nothing can ever change that."
"Can you just give me some time to figure out how to say this?"
"Absolutely. Take all the time you need. I'll be in my office when you're ready to talk."
I nodded and Dad walked out of my room and to his office.
*Time skip a few hours*
I sighed as I walked out of my room and to Dad's office. I had finally figured out how to tell him that Loki was my soulmate.
I knocked on the door. "Dad?"
"Come on in Ky."
I walked in and sat in one of the chairs. I used my magic to close the door behind me.
"There's no need for that. The door can stay open."
I shook my head. "No it can't. Because what I have to say, cannot leave this room at all."
Dad turned to look at me and I could see the core glowing brighter than normal. Typical indication of stress. "What is it son?"
I sighed. "I know who my soulmate is. And I already know that you're gonna hate who it is."
Dad took off his glasses. "I think I may already know who it is."
