(A/N: I'm sure I know what you all are thinking, and no I will not give any information about that last paragraph of Chapter 7. It'll come back into play a little later)

Pretty soon the bus arrived and both Peter and myself got on. He could tell that something wasn't right. I guess no one had told him about the previous night.

"You okay Kyle?" He asked once we were seated.

I shook my head. "Right now, I am the most unokay that I have been in a long time. And I do not feel like talking about it."

"Okay. I just heard from your dad that your magic just disappeared." He whispered softly.

I sighed. "It did. I don't know why or how, but Loki and Thor said that they're gonna do everything they can to figure this out. Even if it means going to Asgard for a bit."

"Would that mean that you'd have to go with them?"

"Yeah. But if I do, it would be a good opportunity to meet my possible future in-laws."

"I mean you're not wrong. But what's gonna happen to your grades?"

"Honestly, I couldn't give two fucks anymore. And even then Barton can cover for me. Explain to my teachers what's going on. Because my magic is a really big part of who I am."

"True. Why do I keep forgetting that he's a teacher?"

"I don't know Pete. He's your advisor. And will be for the next year too."

Fairly soon, Jessica, Justin, and Jake got on the bus.

"Geez Ky, you don't look too hot."

"I do not wish to talk about it Jess. I'd probably go into an anxiety attack if I did."

"I know what's going on." I heard Jake say. "Out of my seat kid."

"Oh my bad. I didn't know that you sat here." Peter moved to the seat across the aisle from where we were.

"Is what I was told true?" I nodded my head. "Show me then." I tried to conjure a small little magic ball that wouldn't be noticeable to anyone besides the people I allowed to see it. But it wouldn't form. "That's weird. Not the first time I've seen it but it's definitely weird."

"What do you think is wrong?"

"Possibly a pair of magic cuffs. These are a specific kind of cuffs that can't be seen with the exception of the person who placed them there. They don't act like normal cuffs but they do restrain magic. You'd either have to confront the person who put them there, or you need to go to Asgard and talk to Frigga. But other than that, there's nothing I can really do."

I sighed. "I appreciate it, Jake. But I'm not gonna be able to confront the person who most likely put them on. He's too strong for me to do that without me possibly getting put into the hospital."

"I understand. Loki told me everything. But don't worry, if he comes at you while I'm around, he will be put into the hospital and I will most likely be put in jail."

"Thank you."

"So what happened?" Jess asked.

"Talk to Loki in 5th. Cuz I'm already starting to go pretty downhill mentally right now and can't handle talking about what happened."

She nodded as the bus pulled up into the school. We all got off and went into the cafeteria. Justin and I sat in our normal spot with Jake with us and Jess went to bs with her friends.

"Do yall not have many friends?"

"Nope. Jess, Justin and Peter are all I really have."

"And I just don't feel like talking to new people. I already have to do that enough at home as is, with me being a future king and all."

Jake looked confused.

"Justin's the future king of Vanaheim. His parents have made it very clear that if he doesn't become king, he will be exiled."

"Yeah, and I kinda wish to keep my status."

Next thing I knew I saw the long white hair of my ex coming my way. "Shit." I said under my breath.

"Are you trying to deter me with the way you dress? Because you know that's not how this works princess."

"Shut the fuck up Draco and leave me the hell alone. You've already caused me enough damage to last me another year."

When he didn't leave, Jake got up. "He said leave. Do I need to let you know who I am?"

"Jake, don't expose yourself like this."

"Oh, do enlighten me."

"Unless you have a deathwish, get the fuck outta here."
