The wind whispered softly as it gently blew against the curtains and into the large, quiet bedroom. The only sound breaking the silence was the pulling of hair through a hairbrush.

Minx sat silently as her personal maiden brushed her hair. Her purple hair was long and soft as it fell down past her shoulders. The maiden placed the brush on the bedside table next to her once she was done and began slightly shaping her hair.

She stood up and smiled, then walked over to the window and shut it, cutting off the cool breeze. "I liked the window open," Minx spoke softly in a monotone voice. The maiden sighed and shook her head, "Yes, the breeze is nice but it'll ruin your beautiful hair," she breathed.

The maiden stood in front of Minx, studying her dress, facial features and even hair. She straightened out a few of the creases in her dress and fixed some loose hairs that had escaped her perfectly made hairstyle.

Finally, she stood her up and smiled whilst she had both arms to Minx's side. "He's gonna love you!" She cheered as she lead Minx out of her room. Outside, her father was waiting. King Austin Espina. "So, are ready to meet Lord Schlatt?" He asked. Minx rolled her eyes as the two of them began walking down the halls, her heels clicking with each step against the polished marble.

As the two large wooden doors that lead entrance to the main hall came into sight, her father grabbed her shoulders and pulled her to the side. "Minx... please take this seriously this time," he mumbled whilst Minx just sighed in reply. He groaned slightly then looked into her eyes, a serious expression plastered on his face. "Please Minx, your the only one in our family who does not have a partner, and Schlatt is well off, he has money! And land! He has the most land of all the lords and ladies in our kingdom!" He cheered. Minx rolled her eyes and groaned, "Fine, I'll try to keep my mouth shut," she mumbled sarcastically as she walked through the two large doors.

Schlatt stood in the middle of the hall, talking with one of the knights. His brown hair was perfectly combed and he wore an expensive suit. He turned as he heard the doors open and saw Minx standing in the entrance. Her purple hair was out and it curled slightly at the ends. Her dress was a mix of light and dark purple and her sleeves almost covered her hands.

She walked up to the Lord and he bowed down to her, she curtsied in reply, although it was a little sloppy due to her not being used to being in heels. Schlatt picked up her hand and placed a soft kiss on it, she rolled her eyes but when she caught her father glaring at her she chuckled awkwardly. Schlatt held out his hand and Minx grasped, "Do you have any place in mind?" He smirked, Minx scoffed, "Of course not."

The two arrived at a large mansion with an even larger garden. They both stepped out of the horse carriage and Schlatt led them through the main fence, towards the garden.

They talked and laughed whilst walking through the garden. "I guess dad might've won this round..." she thought whilst enjoying the moment.

The walk continued through the garden until Minx stopped at a rose bush. It was about a meter tall and wrapped around a thin metal pole. The roses were large and were a beautiful French Violet.

Minx leaned forward and took a gentle sniff of the roses. She grasped the stem in her fingertips and gently removed it from the bush, evading the thorns perfectly. A smile formed on her lips as she looked at the plant in her hands. She loved roses because they reminded her of her friends. Puffy, Hannah, Niki. She missed them all dearly and she had always felt so alone in Thalidien. She had tried to make friends but everyone either thought she was a stuck up Royal or intimidated by her outgoing personality.

She turned towards Schlatt and a blush spread across her face. Although she wasn't yet in love with him and she didn't know him very well, she hoped that their relationship would blossom into something beautiful and that she could finally have some to call a friend.

"You look like you like that flower very much," Schlatt commented, his arms crossed with a smirk plastered on his face and a single brow raised. Minx handed it to him, "Yes I do," she smiled. He grabbed it but then dropped it quickly as he shook his hand and huffed. "That little prick," he mumbled as he looked down at the cut on his finger.

Minx started laughing but began trying to mumble something, "You know what else has a little prick," she chuckled. He glared at her, "Don't you dare finish that sentence," he scowled but she couldn't hear him over her giggles, "You!" She answered as she burst into fits of laughter.

Schlatt groaned and stormed off in the opposite direction. Minx quickly collected herself and ran after Schlatt. "Oh c'mon! It was just a joke! Schlatt! Schlatt?" She called out to him.

He turned around and glared at her, "Wasnt very funny," he grumbled. Minx began to get pissed and scoffed, "Oh my god seriously, what's got you so pissed?! Did someone Piss in your cereal?!" The comment only infuriated him more.

"Your such an immature brat!" He spat, Minx was taken aback by his sudden raise in volume but this only caused a deep anger to bubble up inside her. "I'm the immature!? your the one CRYING over A FUCKING PRICK!" She screamed.
"That's it, I'm taking you home," he replied as they both stormed towards the entrance of the gardens.

"WELL, YOU PROBABLY HAVE A LITTLE PRICK!" Shouted Minx. Her voice was muffled as she was standing behind two large wooden doors. "WELL, YOU'RE A STUPID BITCH!" Schlatt replied.

The king stood in the middle of the main hall, listening to the argument. Suddenly the doors burst open to reveal the angry couple. Minx stormed past her father towards the staircase to her room whilst Schlatt walked up to the king.
"DONT CALL ME A BITCH YOU CUNT!" She screamed as she raised up the staircase.

His face was twisted with rage, "I'm sorry your majesty but there is no way I can marry that..." he hesitated, trying to find the correct words as not to offend the kind. "Girl..." he whispered, exhausted from the arguing.

And with that, he turned around and slumped out of the doors to his horse and carriage.

The King turned around, filled with rage and stormed towards Minx's room. "MINX, GET DOWN HERE RIGHT! NOW!" He screamed.
