Wonderland

Chapter 4: The Return

        "Where the hell are we?" Tiffany asked.

        "This is my Wonderland," Mason replied.

        Black hollow trees surrounded a dull castle that stood in front of them. Cries of wind brush past them calling for help.  Everything just seemed, dead. She felt a lump of sorrow building in her stomach, knowing she can't help make this poor land better. They entered through the tall decaying doors and inside was like something out of the movies. Velvet carpet lined the hallways that lead to numerous doors and other hallways. Tiffany's eyes widened with fear, hoping she wouldn't have to live this kind of dream forever. Grinning, Mason took her through complicated mazes of twist and turns, going up and down stairs, over and under bridges, and finally ending in a small room in what seems to be a jail cell on the too of the castle. But just then, she realized she had her phone with her. As soon as Mason left, she dialed Andre's number, surprisingly. Andre never told her his number and Tiffany never asked her for it. Numbers were whispered in her ear in Andre's voice.

        "Thank you," she said quietly to herself. After one ring, it stopped, but nobody picked up. Then, a soft knock came from the door. Swiftly turning around, her eyes light up with burning love and butterflies flew in her stomach. Andre appeared with a sword that was blazing in a fiery gold color.

        "My Prince Charming," Tiffany said amused, "How did you come so fast?"

        "I took the freeway," he answered with a wink. He kicked the window open, shattering the glass into millions of pieces and grabbed Tiffany around her waist. Throwing ropes down the window, before they made their escape down the rope, Andre kissed Tiffany with so much passion, that it left Tiffany speechless.

        Landing on the sale and solid ground Andre asked, "So how was it?"

        Grinning happily she replied, "It was a bit of a rush, but I can handle it."
