FRED WEASLEY POV – Gryffindor Beater

Fred yawned, trying not to fall asleep as Oliver talked about the upcoming game. Angelina had already given up, her head laid on his shoulder, and she quietly snored.

"Wake her," George mouthed towards him before trying to look interested in the lecture.

"Angie, this is not the time to sleep," Fred murmured, waking up the Gryffindor chaser.

She shook her head, looking around before sighing deeply. "He still isn't finished?" Angelina asked in disbelief, earning a quiet chuckle from Fred.

"WOULD YOU PLEASE PAY ATTENTION!" Oliver glared at Angelina and Fred, still pointing to a blackboard strategy he had drawn with chalk.

"Oliver, the game's tomorrow. Do you really think we'll pick up new strategies now?" Fred asked.

"You would if you just put a little more effort into listening."

Oliver was clearly in game mode. The next match was the one he had feared most. Slytherin had shown a good performance this year. But somehow, Fred couldn't shake the feeling that Oliver wanted to win only for his own goals.

"Fine, just go to bed, then. Take a rest and be ready to beat the Slytherins off of their brooms. Not literally beat...even though, yes, also literally beat them," Wood said, dismissing his team with a handwave.

LYOVA RASMUSSEN POV - Durmstrang Quidditch Captain

Lyova had woken up early in the morning, even though it was the weekend. After trying to get back asleep for a bit, she had given up and decided to get changed and go to the great hall. The corridors were abandoned, and even the paintings were still asleep. Some of them even snored.

Entering the great hall was the first time seeing the room without any students eating and chattering. The tables had not been set, and the sun's first rays fell through the large windows behind the teachers' table.

Lyova went forward and stood right in front of them, leaning her head to the cold surface, taking in the breathtaking landscape.

"No matter how often I look at it, it is still quite impressive," a voice next to her said. She turned around and recognized, surprised that Headmaster Dumbledore stood next to her, looking out the window. His long fingers were crossed behind his back, and his crimson-red robe reached down on the floor.

"It is a great day, Miss Rasmussen, isn't it?" he asked, smirking lightly.

"Yes, I do think the match will be an interesting one, Professor, " Lyova hummed, looking back out of the window.

"How are you liking Hogwarts? I would have asked earlier, but it hasn't been easy to get a hold of you since you spend most of your time on your broom," the Headmaster chuckled. Even though he looked ahead, Lyova could feel that he watched her from the side of his eyes.

"We had a good time so far, apart from one or two incidents," Lyova only muttered the last few words, but Dumbledore smirked knowingly.

"You're of a competitive nature, Miss Rasmussen. I wonder which house the hat would have assigned to you. If I were to guess I'd say Gryffindor...maybe Slytherin."

Lyova snorted. Never would she have gone to Slytherin voluntary.

"I always thought that Mister Wood would be the most ambitious student regarding Quidditch. But I think you make a good challenge." Dumbledore remarked. Lyova nodded absentmindedly.

"He is, indeed, very ambitious," she admitted with a small smirk. Silence filled the room, and she enjoyed the view as Professor Dumbledore spoke up again.
