"Welcome to this exceptional match. I feel honoured to commentate this one with the amazing Mister Lee Jordan." A deep voice filled the stadium, causing the audience to cheer up.
"Thank you, Mister Bagman. I can tell you that we've all been waiting for this match since the beginning of term. And today, it will be decided. Durmstrang or Hogwarts. Lyova Rasmussen or Oliver Wood."
"Speaking of which. How unexpected, seeing a female captain, leading a team of only male players," Ludo Bagman stated curiously.
"Believe me when I say she has probably more guts than all the men combined," Lee laughed into his microphone, earning cheers of agreement.
"And here they are, the two teams we have been waiting to see. Please welcome everybody: the Durmstrang quidditch team. Led by the fantastic Lyova Rasmussen. I heard her bigger brother Alexej was a chaser and captain before - seems to be a family talent.
She is followed by keeper Adam Kazlauskas, beaters Wojtek Farkas and Chris Orlov, her fellow chasers Davor Lazarev and Mislav Silva, and last but not least, her seeker Viktor Krum, that we will also see with the Bulgarian national team this summer in the Quidditch World Championship. I think I saw some of his national team players at Hogwarts today as well."
"Yes, Ludo, I think they are here to see his seeker playing for a captain that is notorious for having an amazing ability on how to kick peoples arses...sorry, Professor. Ah, this is Professor McGonnagal, by the way. She'll have a look at our language." The audience listened to Ludo Bagman, who introduced himself to Professor McGonnagal when Lee spoke up again.
"Should we go on? – Because here we have the Gryffindor team that will compete for Hogwarts, led by the one and only Oliver Wood—followed by his three astonishing women chasers Katie Bell, Angelina Johnson, and Alicia Spinnet. Then we have the two twin beaters, Fred and George Weasley. They don't only share the same appearance but also the same mind. And here is Harry Potter, the boy who survived not only you-know-who but also hours of locker room speeches by Wood. True story!"
The audience laughed and cheered while the team captains stepped forward to shake hands.
LYOVA RASMUSSEN POV - Durmstrang Quidditch Captain
The atmosphere was breathtaking. The tribunes were filled up to the brim, and the Hogwarts school band played background music. Lyova took one minute to take in this feeling before stepping forward to Wood.
"That's it. Are you ready?" she asked, looking up to Oliver, who seemed surprisingly composed.
"Interested in a last bet?" he replied while taking Lyovas hand to shake it.
"Spit it," Lyova grinned, shaking his hand as well.
"The winner gets to ask a question that needs to be answered truthfully."
"Deal." Lyova curtly frowned upon his unexpected wager but loosened her grip and smiled at Wood.
She turned around to face her teammates, and a feeling of excitement crept up inside her. Her teammates looked at her in determination as she started to yell, louder than she had ever done before.
"For the team!" she shouted at her teammates.
"За команду!"
This time, her teammate's yells were reinforced by the audience that sat on the Durmstrang tribunes. So Lyova turned around to face them. Her shoulders widened as she yelled.
"For the Honour!"
"за честь!"
"For Durmstrang!"
