Y/N POV

"From the slums of Shaolin, Wu-Tang Clan
strikes again, The RZA, The GZA, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon the Chef, U-God, Ghostface Killah, and the Meth- M-E-T-H-O-D MAN, M-E-T-H-"

"Yo, your sandwich" I looked up at saw Henry the grill cook, with my sandwich in his hand and a smile on his face. I took it from him reciprocating a smile. "See you listening to Wu-Tang; told ya you would like them," He said smirking. I rolled my eyes cuz  he put me on to them when I was 8.

"Henry it's been 8 years let it go" I said

He looked at me and just asked if I had any favorite songs yet as he did 8 years ago.

"Yea Method Man and Protect Ya Neck"

"Oh good picks, I taught you well" looking at the man playfully bored, he gave me the middle finger as I walked up to the counter to pay, laughing.

"BYE HENRY" I said walking out

"BYE SENSEI" he responded with his nickname for me.

I put my headphones in my ears while replaying the song on my iPod my parents got me for my birthday. After walking for 10 mins I was at one of the many extracurricular activities my parents have me in so they don't have to parent me, Karate.

I ain't really complain about it or the other activities cause I actually like them. The idea of me getting more talented with each sport, instrument, or school boosts my ego, I'd admit. It's just something you have to be cocky about as a 16 year old.

I walk in and put my jacket in one of the lockers and walk over to the table. Pulling out my sandwich I look up feeling the table move, I look to the side and damn near die.

"Ahhh" I scream falling out of the chair as the person above me now was dying and taking off their mask. "What the fuck Mani," I said to the girl. She kept laughing trying to catch her breath as I look at her, trying to force my smile down when I feel my heart skip a beat.

Calming down now the brown skin girl looks at me.

"How are you scared of a Cupid mask?" She asks still trying not to laugh

"I wasn't scared of the mask you crept up on me and just so happened to have a mask on"

"So you're scared of me-" she says as I cut her off "No didn't say that either". She smirks at me "Didn't have to" she turns around and walks away as I follow her, with my sandwich in my hand. She sits on the bench and I sit next to her giving her half of my sandwich.

"Here Happy Valentine" I said with a big smile on my face

"Omg for me??!?? You're the besssssst best friend ever" she exaggerates

It's something we would always do, ever since we first met on our first days of karate. We were both 6 and I thought she was pretty so I talked to her and gave her half of my sandwich. Imma proud simp.

"So what are we doing tonight?" She asked turning to me. I glanced at her "Sleepover, movies, snacks.... weed?" She looks at me kinda wide-eyed but then says ok, knowing where I got it. As I said smartly in all things. My parents are always on business trips, making us richer; I was basically raised by nannies and my cousin Dove, all of them were cool though so I'm not complaining. But when it came to TV there was no censor, you hear or learn things and get curious on the internet and then you just learn more, B
but anyways.

I finished my half and threw my trash out. Tightening my brown belt with Mani behind me, since Sensei was bout to start the class. Mani took her spot next to me on the mat, then this boy Justin came up next to her.
