"Mrs. Davis, please take a seat." Mrs. Andrews pointed at one of the empty seats. She grunted and took a seat.

Even though our group of four have been here for about half an hour, none of us chose to sit down on a chair. Starry is sitting on the floor by Lex's feet. Lex is half sitting on the corner of Mrs. Andrews' desk. Axl has his back leaning on the wall and has pulled me to lean on him. Slowly he wraps his arms around me and hugs me. Almost like a shield. Once Mrs. Davis took a seat, Starry moved back a bit so she's almost leaning on Lex's leg, Lex's hand casually went to his waistband where the three of us know he keeps a pocket knife and Axl tightened his grip on me.

"How long have you been eavesdropping on them?" Mrs. Andrews asked. She straightened up and took authority once she noticed our change in behavior. One of my hands went back to Axl's waistband where I know he carries two pocket knives. One for himself and one for me when I feel the need to use something apart from my hands.

"Not for long. I heard a bit of the panic or asthma attack explanation then up until you opened the door." Very casually, Lex quickly pulled his knife out and pushed it up his sleeve. Starry moved back and leaned on his leg while he put his other leg over her shoulder, ready to pounce and protect her if the time comes. Axl and I both grabbed a knife and pushed it up our sleeves. So quickly yet so casually. We've done this a million times before. Nobody noticed us.

"Wonderful. Why didn't you knock and enter as soon as you showed up?" Starry asked from behind Lex's leg. Mrs. Davis looked at her confused then scanned her eyes over the four of us.

"I do not believe I am welcome here." She starts to get up but Lex pounced over Starry and blocked the door. In a second, I took over Lex's spot on the desk and Axl stood in front of Mrs. Andrews.

"Please allow me to leave." She begged, refusing to sit down.

"Nope can't do that." Starry whispered. Lex's eyes kept darting between Mrs. Davis and the ball that Starry put herself into.

"You're in a room of some of the most dangerous people in the school." Mrs. Andrews mumbled.

"Yeah, maybe I should introduce you." I smiled.

"Hey, I'm the only one who's killed someone!" Lex spoke, faking being hurt.

"Intentionally." Axl reminded him, eyes sparkling with fire.

"I'm the least dangerous one here and I've caused some serious damage-" Starry poked her head out. Giving out a smile that calmed Lex a bit.

"May I remind you that this school is on crosspaths?" Her eyes widened when she recalled some of us could be Mafia descendants.

"Ugh, thanks for reminding her Mrs. Andrews. Now we can't scare her like we wanted to!" Lex being overdramatic again. I rolled my eyes and Axl laughed at his brother's antics. Starry blushed and hid under the desk again.

"I'm going to call my son. You guys can't do anything against him!" She pulled out her phone and tried to make a phone call.

"Forgot to tell you, cell service doesn't work in offices." Axl spoke slowly, his words came out heavy, as they were coated in venom. His smile danced on the corner of his mouth, matching his eyes, and he took a confident step forward while Mrs. Davis took a step back looking for a place to hide.

"You're scaring her Axl." Mrs. Andrews spoke with a shaking voice. Axl was clearly scaring her too.

"Like I said Mrs. Andrews, I won't bite." His eyes never left Mrs. Davis. Panicked, Mrs. Andrews looked over at me. Sighing, I walked up behind him and held his hand.

"Hold off, please?" He took a breath and went to stand by Lex while I resumed my earlier position protecting Starry.

"As Mrs. Andrews said," Lex started and looked over to Mrs. Andrews.

"Mrs. Davis, please take a seat."
