you couldn't see anything, nor could you feel anything. it was just dark. blank. cold..

you gasped, sitting up, clutching your hand to your chest. you trembled, coughing.

you stared down, seeing that you were in a puddle of what seemed to be black tarr.

except you could see your reflection.

it was you.

but different.

"who are you?"

your head snapped up.

you seen a.. person? manifestation?

it was.. it had the body of smoke, void like eyes,

"are you going to answer?"

it spoke again, it's voice echoing through the endless blank space you sat inside of.

you opened your mouth to respond, but couldn't.. find your voice.

you couldn't speak.

your throat felt tight.

"can't speak?"

the being chucked lowly, it's eyes leaking this.. liquefied substance.

"here, let me help you up." it said, suddenly appearing infront of you.

it reached down, picking you up with little to no effort.

it stood you up, now staring down at you. 

you're no noticing how tall it really was.

it was about 10 feet, if not taller.

"hasn't anyone ever told you staring is rude?" it spoke, it's voice crackling in the silent void.

embarrassed, you averted your gaze towards the blank ground.

".."

"let's get you cleaned up, yes?"

it spoke, grasping your hand.

you were then encased in a cloud of smoke.

next thing you know, your in a room.

"hello,"

you turn your head to see a male.

"i'm ezlen." the male spoke.

ah.

so that..

that was the..

being you met inside of the void.

"i'm currently in my human form, so, please don't fret." he says, holding his hand up.

it was black, like tar.

his sleeves were rolled up, and so, the black tar like substance stopped around his forearm.

"how are you feeling?" he asked, his accent thick and heavy.

"i-" you paused, coughing into your fist.

ezlen chuckled, walking over.

"nevermind that, how about we go ahead and get you dressed, yeah?" he hums, helping you stand up.

he was still freakishly tall, by the looks of it.

"so, what's your name?"
