The future is dark....

As Shirou sat unconscious in the medical centre Momo was planning. She had borrowed one of the lab facility's not far from the palace. You see Momo was a child that could be considered beyond genius level. With intelligence that bordered on being a quirk of its own, she was certainly a formidable force in the scientific world. Even at this young age. In her hand lay a power core. A reactor powered by a biological organism. A firefly that obtained a quirk, The quirk Power Creation. It allows the bug to create powerful electrical charges from its body.

The ultimate renewable energy source. She had created it herself. After randomly finding the firefly in a museum, and now after breeding them in secret she held enough power to change the world. And it's time she used it!

Creation!

A large shield formed floating in their air. Light purple lines flow through the construct. Moving her hand up and down the shield followed becoming an automatic defence system.
"With this. Beating Artoria is no longer impossible!"

Meanwhile

The parents sat around a beautifully artistic table discussing what had happened. "That endless golden light... it could only belong to King Arthur himself!" The king said proposing an Idea that they had all thought about. "Perhaps. She has inherited his anomalous ability's!"

Anomalies, people from the far past that seemingly possessed quirks. A theory heavily debated across the world, according to the theory these people possessed abilities rivalling and far surpassing the top hero's!

"If it's true that she has these abilities, your daughter will certainly turn the world upside down!"  Yoshiko the mother of the Yaryorozu children said hoping to flatter the royals. "Indeed she will. Now, let's get down to business. What do you want for Shirou." The king said hoping to buy the child their daughter had an interest in.

"Shirou's worth more than expected. His quirk has seemingly evolved from its original form. So your gonna have to put more on the table than before." Tadashi said hoping to gain great benefits from the deal.
"Certainly, certainly." The king said placing a large document on the table. "This should suit your arrangements."

Reading through the paper Tadashi couldn't believe how generous they were being! Not only would they become allies, but the family would be given noble titles within Britain along with a quite fruitful trade deal for the company. "This is great! I will happily hand over Shirou for this!" Tadashi exclaimed before passing the document to his wife.

"But one thing I'm curious about... Why do you want us to keep Shirou in Japan?" He asked the king curious about this odd arrangement. "It's simple. I don't want Shirou hating us. If we take him away at this age he may view us as enemies. We want him to come here on Holiday and slowly begin to love us, as a second family, before making a full transition at the end of high school." The king responded genuinely wanting what he believed to be the best for all parties.

Picking up his pen Tadashi quickly signed the document, Yoshiko on the other hand took a minute to decide before thinking of Shirou's future wedding to Artoria. In this motherly trance, she couldn't help but sign the document. This was their final chance to back out and save Shirou from a dark future, they failed miserably.

Meanwhile

Shirou was still unconscious physically but in his mind, he was training to his limits. Using swords as catalysts he brought forth phantoms in his mind. Echos of heroic spirits without a mind. Performing their techniques over and over again. All to be observed and copied by Shirou who was using this chance to truly learn the sword.
He may copy the technique of the user of the weapons he traces. But. It feels empty, without true structure or reason. Hopefully, with this, his techniques become more real.

Merlin sat in the background watching the future hero of justices movements. This reality marble was currently near identical to Avalon. The only difference was the large dogs that turned overhead and the endless number of swords implanted into the floor. Merlin looked towards the sky, dark clouds lay upon the horizon. "I hope the future is kind to you Shirou. I truly do."

And just like that 10 years past
