Chapter 17: Arachnoid

Then spots something off and Starscream raises his eyebrow.

"Arachnid," growled Starscream when spotting her.

Cora flinched when she heard that name.

"Oh hello, Starscream," snarled Arachnid and she went over to him.

Cora backs off and remembers Arachnid and goes to a table close to Starscream's bedding and goes behind it and watches them from far away.

"What are you doing here," questioned Starscream with a low growl.

"To see, Lord Megatron," answered Arachnid with a grumble and looked at Starscream. "But before I go over to him. I would like to speak with you first."

Cora watches them and she sees that they are coming in. Cora flinches and continues to watch them and her eyes go wide into fear. I need to get into the vent so I can leave the room, meowed Cora and she twitched her nose and tried to figure out what she should do. I don't see it anywhere. Then Cora spots it and sees that it is right next to Starscream's bedding. I should have run over to it. Oh great. Well, this is going to be a problem getting into the vent if Arachnid is in front of Screamer and she is kind of looking in my direction, Cora grumbles and continues watching them. Or unless I could pass them without Arachnid knowing that I am there. Cora thinks for a minute and tries to think of a good plan. Let's see if I can get into the vent and I hope I do not get injured today or die. Cora grumbles and waits for the right opportunity to get into the vent. When Arachnid was on the other side of Starscream. Arachnid's back is towards Cora. Cora smiles and she moves forward and goes slowly over to the vents and watches them. Starscream does a couple of glances over at Cora but listens to Arachnid as much as possible. Arachnid wonders what Starscream is looking at. Then she turns her head and Starscream flinched and he realizes that he made a mistake in looking over at Cora. Cora opened the vent a little to squeeze through and she paused and felt Arachnid staring at her. Cora turns her head around towards Arachnid and Arachnid flicks her ears with interest and wonders why there is a smaller feline here on the ship. Cora's eyes went wide with fright and Arachnid looked at Starscream in concern.

"So tell me Screamer why there is a smaller feline on the Nemesis," wondered Arachnid. 

Starscream looked at her and flinched and Starscream did not answer. Then he answered a minute later when Arachnid was about to walk over to her and see what she was doing here. Arachnid looked over at Cora and her ears were down and were ready to dart into the vent.

"Lord Megatron has insisted on keeping her," answered Starscream and Arachnid flinches and she looks at him in concern about why Lord Megatron is keeping the smaller feline.

"Why is that Starscream," questioned Arachnid in wonder and she wondered why Megatron was keeping her.

"Don't know what his intentions on keeping her, but you may ask Lord Megatron yourself," growled Starscream and glanced at Arachnid. 

"Well then I will, but I want to have a little talk with her," replied Arachnid and Starscream flinched and he growled at her saying that she should not go over to the smaller feline. "What. Do you care about her?"

Cora flinched and her eyes went wide and wondered if he liked her back. I like Megatron and Starscream. Oh god, I will I deal with two idiots these days, grumbled Cora, and then saw Starscream grumbling and doing a little blush. Cora's eyes went wide in surprise. So he does like me. I hope Megatron does not question it either. I can't deal with two spark mates. Cora flicks her ears and looks at the vents and looks back at Arachnid. Arachnid notices something, but Starscream sighs and lies to Arachnid. Cora realizes that it was a lie and is surprised by this. So he is lying to her and keeping me safe. Now, this is odd from Screamer, mewed Cora, and she sees Arachnid rolling her eyes and looking over at Cora. Cora flinched and Arachnid started to go over to her. Cora backs off and Arachnid flicks her ears with interest and wonders what is wrong with her then she growls and her claws are out. Cora's eyes went into fear and her ears were back. Hell no, meowed Cora, and she backed up a little more. I must think of a plan and fast. Starscream watches and then sees that Arachnid will go after her and try to injure her. Starscream growls at Arachnid, but Arachnid ignores him and she thinks of dashing at Cora.
