Chapter 18: Alone & Regret

Cora grumbles and decides to head over to the vents in the infirmary room. She enters the vents and goes to the spot where no one knows where she is and hears her. Cora's ears were down and started crying and she lay down. I have been running for my life and I hate being alone. Usually, I like to be left alone and not get attention and I miss getting the attention, but now since my sister is getting all of the attention. I think I should stay here and wait for anything interesting to happen. Now I will be staying in hiding and waiting until Arachnid leaves, thought Cora and she cries even more. Starscream left the room and he might get yelled at by Megatron. Good riddance for him. Knockout and Breakdown are together and they both don't want to spend some time with me since they did that yesterday or two days ago. Cora grumbles and puts her head down and tears are dripping down her face.

Cora has stayed in the vents for five days and she continues exploring the vents and making sure that she is not hurt. Cora hears Megatron telling the others to keep an eye out for the smaller feline Cora and if they do find her bring her to him. He would like to speak with her and everyone else nods. The others that he has told are Knockout, Breakdown, Starscream, and Soundwave. On the third day, Arachnid left the group and Cora sighed with relief, but she stayed out of the way of the Decepticats and watched them from the distance. Cora heads over to Megatron's room and sees him working on something. Cora watches him from the distance and she flicks her ears with interest. Cora grumbles and lays there whenever he goes to sleep. Cora exits the vent slowly and moves around his room but then she notices that there are three vents. One near his table and another one near his bedding. Cora smiles when she sees extra vents. Cora lays by the vent where he sleeps and tears come down her face. Cora grumbles again and sighs. Cora heads over to Soundwave and Starscream's room. She is careful about Soundwave since he is clever and is good at hearing with his companion Laserbeak.

On the fifth day, Cora is in her area and then remembers that she forgot about her new form. Oh no, I forgot about my form and I have been stuck on the ship a lot, remembered Cora and she grumbled. My sister might have a new form and I heard complaints going about the ship and saying that the Autocats have a recruit. So I think it will be my sister and if I remember correctly she does missions in her Autocat form and if no missions then she stays in her smaller form. Cora grumbles and lays her head down and wonders if anyone has missed her at all. Cora sighs and gets up and she heads over to look around. Then she is thinking of heading over to the ground bridge to check the coordinates and set it up and find a pool of water that is close by. Cora growls when hearing something outside the vents and she looks outside and listens to the conversation. Cora listens and she wonders what is going on. They were talking about other things and then Starscream pointed something out for Megatron since on what he remembered from last time. 

"The fleshling was heading over to the vents a while back when I was speaking with Arachnid," pointed out Starscream, Megatron growled and wondered what he meant by that and he gave Starscream a questioning look at what Cora was with him. "So she was about to head over to it, but she never got the chance when Arachnid went after her."

Then Megatron stops growling and remembers something and he looks at all of the vents. So she must be in the vents and hiding, remembered Megatron when figuring it out.

"Starscream head over to Knockout and Breakdown and tell them to check the vents in the storage rooms and infirmary room. Soundwave goes and checks the vents in his room. Starscream goes do it as well. I will check the hallways with Soundwave if he does not find anything from his room," ordered Megatron and both felines gave him a questioning look about what he was doing. "Cora likes to hide in the vents. She has been doing it constantly which is getting very concerning at this moment."
