Chapter 25

Tobin's POV:

"How did you guy's sleep"? Hope asked with a smile as we sat around the table which consisted of y/n, Ashlyn, Ali and Kelley who was entertaining the kids. We ate our breakfast that consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage and toast.

"I slept pretty well". Y/n says softly smiling as she intertwines our fingers holding my hand under the table while she eats her breakfast. "Same" everyone said agreeing with y/n.

I look over at Ashton and Kobin to see them push their plates away. "Are you full kiddos"? I asked the twins who both nodded their heads. "Yes Toby we are done", they replied and I look to see y/n too had finished her breakfast. I stood from my seat "Here let me take those and throw them away". I said as I gently stacked the plates before going and throwing the waste away in the trash and stacked the plates on the side. I walked back to the table just as y/n and the kids stood from their seats. The majority of the team had also finished and left to their rooms to get ready for practice.

I make my way into mine and Y/n's room and head over to my bag to grab my practice kit and Y/n did the same. We let the twins watch cartoons till we were dressed and ready to go. Once we were ready we made our way back to the lobby to get on the bus with the rest of the team. I took my seat beside Y/n at the back of the bus while Kobin and Ashton sat with Kelley and Hope a couple of rows ahead of us.

Y/n lays her head on my shoulder. "Hey, baby how are you feeling"? I ask her as I place a kiss on her forehead.

Y/n looks up at me with a small smile, "I am fine Toby I'm excited about practising with the team, But I am also nervous about meeting up with Conner later". She says to me softly as she cuddles into my side on the bus.

I nod my head with a small smile and kiss her head again before whispering into her ear "Everything is going to be okay baby".

After waiting on the rest of the team to finally arrive on the bus Ashlyn and Ali smile at us and take their seats beside us. Not long later the bus pulls out from the hotel and we make the journey to the field.

10 minutes later

The pitch/field:

Y/n pov:

We arrive outside the training facility and stadium and the bus stops. We all pile off of the bus and make our way in before going to the field to have a quick walk around it. Once we've done we go into the locker room to our individual cubbies. I sit at mine and put my cleats and kit on before making my way onto the pitch to warm up. I get a ball out for the kids and kick it to them so they can play on the sidelines before I get another ball and start to kick it around. I start to do tricks before looking across the field at Tobin who's back is to me. I smirk and play around with the ball before kicking it and hitting Tobin in the back with the ball.

Tobin looks at the ball behind her before looking up at me to see me laughing. She narrows her eyes playfully at me. "You did not hit me with a ball again babe", she says while I laugh and I take off running with Tobin chasing me. Stopping to catch my breath for a second Tobin quickly tackles me from behind and we end up on the floor with Tobin above me. She looks down at me and laughs before pecking me on the lips and getting up. She holds her hand out and gives me a lift up.

We make our way over to the rest of the team before we start practice and training.

"Today we are going to start off with scrimmages and the captions are Ashlyn and Hope you now may pick your teams" coach says to us as we gather around

aAfter the Teams where picked we got in position and the scrimmage began.

Time Skip: After Training:

After practice and scrimmaging which we won 3-1 with me and Lindsey scoring a goal. I also assisted Tobin's goal. Alex was the only goalscorer for Hopes team.

The team made their way into the locker room and over to their respected cubbies. I took a seat before taking off my cleats and grabbing my towel and change of clothes. I then made my way to the locker room showers. I quickly went in for a quick shower which was no longer than a few minutes. I walked out of the showers dressed in some of my street clothes before then packing the rest of my belongings into my bag.

I then made my way to the bus with the twins and took a seat beside Tobin while Ashton and kobin sat with Ashlyn and Ali.

After everyone got onto the bus we pulled out of the parking lot and made our way back to the hotel which didn't take that long.

Once the bus pulled up outside the hotel we grabbed our belongings and made our way off the bus. Tobin, the kids and I walked into the hotel and we made our way up to our room so I could get ready to meet up with Connor in about an hour and a half for the talk.

After getting dressed for my meeting with Connor I look at myself in the mirror and smile softly. I then sit with the twins to watch cartoons while waiting for Tobin to get done so she can take the twins swimming.

Tobin comes out of the bathroom dressed in boardshorts and a cut off sleeveless shirt. She then walks over and sits beside me and kisses me before looking at the twins.

"Are you ready to go swimming"? Kobin and Ashton jump up squealing "Yeah let's go", they said.  "Ah ah hold up, before you go I want you to listen to Tobin and be good". I said and they agree and drag Tobin out of the room and down to the pool.

Once they've gone I make my way out of the room as well and head off to meat Connor at Jack's BBQ diner and grill. I walk out to my Jeep and get in before making my way to the restaurant.

After driving for 10 minutes I pull into the parking lot and find a parking spot. I then make my way inside to find that Connor had already found a seat so I made my way over to him.

" hello connor " I said and took a seat.
