An unfortunate turn of events

1. Trouble in Hogwarts

If you asked anyone at Hogwarts in the year 2019 who was the most likely to get in trouble you would find yourself with two names. The first was Fred Weasley jr who took after his father and uncle always causing mayhem. The next was James Sirius Potter who wanted to make his own reputation that wasn't  caused by his family. These two combined was extearmly dangerous.

One particular day they finally got in over their heads.

Teddy Lupin had excepted this job as a favour to his godfather and wasn't his first choice, though he did enjoy it. Teddy worked as a potions teacher temporary until they could find a new one. The only problem with this was teaching his brother and cousin who always  stirred up trouble in his potions class. 

Teddy now watched the two of them closely as they attempted to make a drought of living death potion in detention after setting Alice Longbottum's hair on fire. Teddy was almost  certain that they were whispering about things other then the potion in front of them however he didn't stop  them. There was a knock at the door that cause all three of them to jump. Teddy stood up to answer it.

"Sorry for bothering you but mom sent a howler for James," Albus Potter said walking into the class room. "She's livid."

"And why are you two here?" Teddy turns to Scorpio Malory and Rose Granger-Weasley.

"We were just going to have a friendly in the Quitich field," Rose was going to say more when she noticed James and Fred were not brewing their potion and didn't seem to notice their presents. "Fred, James, what are you doing?"

James visibly jumped which made Fred start to laugh uncontrollably. Teddy noticed James clutching something.

"James what is that?"

"I found it when Flinch was making us clean his office," James answered confidently and blew a raspberry. "Finders keepers." 

"James please give it here." Teddy asked extending his hand out for the trinket, but James just held it l out on the  opposite side. Teddy sighed in anoyence and reached to grab it  accidentally  knocking it out of James hand causing it to shatter.

"Now look was you've done." James said grumpily as he went to reach for to notice a cloud of dust coming from the shattered necklace like a dust storm.

"James!" Albus shouted as his brother but it was lost to the sand than consumed them as they blacked out.

A/N: it: been a while since I've written a fanfiction, I think the last thing I wrote was in late 2019 early 2020 and I have  been out of practise. I am trying writing a bit difrent then other stories I have done, so any opinion on it would help. I may continue this if people read it but this books is mostly just for me to practice writing fanfiction again.
