Dream smiled.
"Oh and do what exactly Mads?" She let out a small giggle. "Well, I'm sure you know.." "Oh do i?" Dream spoke in a monotone deep voice, it was his normal tone. "Mhm! You can meet my parents!" She smiled widely. Dream laughed. "Of course, mi'lady." "What did you think if something else in mind?" "Nope." "Okay. Let's go then!"
The two of them walked over to dream's jeep and hopped in. "Where do ya live?" "Hm?" "I need your address in order to drive there." "Oh right! It's 43 Sangers Lane." "Alright. We'll be there in a few." She smiled and nodded.
Pulling up to her house, dream stops at the end of the driveway on the road. "Alright. We're here." She gave him a confused look. "You're coming in right?" She sent a fake giggle. "Nah it's late, got school tomorrow y'know?" "Oh come on dream.. you hate school everyone knows it! What.. are you scared of what's to come if you get out of your car with me right now?" He chuckled. "Ha! No. I just realized you want the satisfaction of hooking up with the popular person, me. Now get out, I can hear how fake your giggles are."
She scoffed. "Huh. Maybe I should've gotten together with sapnap then. He'd realize my beauty." "Oh you're hot and a good kisser, don't get me wrong, but you as a person is terrible. And yet you're still in my car. Now leave."
She opened the car door and jumped out. "Just so you know, you play people all the time. So don't act as the good guy because deep down you know you don't give a shit." She shut the door and walked across her lawn to the door. Opened and shut, she was gone within the walls of her house.
Dream drove off, stopping at sapnap's house before arriving at his own. He shut off the jeep and walked to the front door. He knocked. Every few seconds his breath would appear in a little air cloud from the cold weather. Someone answered the door. It was his mom.
"Hello Mrs! Is sapnap here by any chance?" She nodded then spoke. "Please, come in. Its cold out here." Dream nodded then walked inside the small warm home. "Thanks." "Of course. Oh is everything okay with you two? He came home pretty mad, more mad than usual." Dream sighed. "An argument, like all friends do. Is he in his room? Could I got talk to him?" "Mhm he is, and yes you may. Goodluck, I couldn't get him to leave his room all day." "Thank you." Dream walked down the hall. He knocked on his door.
"Mom I said no so go away!" A voice came from the other side, sapnap. Dream knocked again. "Oh my god! Ugh just stop it alre-" He swung open the door, meeting eyes with best friend. "Oh. It's you." He rolled his eyes obnoxiously. "Sapnap can we just talk?" "Hm. No I don't want to. Where were you by the way? With Maddie im assuming." "No- well yes but-" "My case stands. Just go home bro." He began to shut the door in dream's face.
Dream stopped the door. "No, im not letting you push me away like you did with punz!" "OH what's punz gotta do with this now?! Stop dragging people into this." "You know dude, you know." "Ugh! Did you just come here to argue?! Leave dammit!" Dream could hear the rage in sapnap's voice. He sighed. "You're right, and im sorry. I dont wanna make this worse than it is already. If you don't want to talk, that's fine, but just so you know I never got together with Maddie. She's a fraud who just wanted to hook up with me or you cuz we're popular. OK?" Sapnap didn't answer but instead just stood there. "Fine. See you at school tomorrow dude. Cya." Dream walked out of his room and to the main room. "Have a nice night Mrs! Bye and thank you" Dream smiled. She smiled back. "Thank you, and anytime! Bye!" He headed out the door.

Arriving at his house, dream parks in the driveway. He sat in his seat for a moment. Quickly, he punches his steering wheel in anger. "COME ON! COME ON! COME ONNN!" He put his head down, mumbling. "Why sap.. why do you push away everyone who cares about you."
Sitting for about five minutes, dream gets out of his jeep and walks inside his house. 11:43 PM. It's late, especially on a school night, and dream knows his parents would be mad.
Quietly walking on the wooden floors of his house he makes it to the kitchen. Grabbing his leftover cold dinner, he spots his father sitting in the arm chair with a newspaper in his hand. He fell asleep. Dream did not spot his mother though.
He takes the food and walks up the stairs. Dream knows what's to come tomorrow morning when his parents both await at the stairs for him. But he didn't want to think about it. Instead, he ate his food quickly then laid in his bed and drifted off to sleep.
Tomorrow is gonna to be a good day ,
hopefully.***
Wednesday, March 29th. "Good day."
Dream woke up and did his daily morning routine he did basically everyday. He walked down the stairs totally forgetting about last night.
Approaching the bottom of the stairs, he saw his parents standing there. Dream widened his eyes. "Shit." He said quietly to himself.
"Hello young man! And where have you been last night?" His father pitched. "Yes honey.. where were you out so late?" She spoke in a nicer soft tone. "Um.. so if you really want to know-" "Yes we do Clay." His mother also nodded with a smile. "Ok. Well first, I got home at 11:40ish because I was trying to fix a fight me and sapnap had, so i stopped at his house." "Oh i hope everything is okay." His mother said. His father though, he didn't care. "Ok. That kid was rubbish anyways. Always doing bad things. I hope you didn't fix things." Dream's mother lightly smacked him on the arm. She mouthed what looked like "stop why are you doing that." "Dad?! What the hell!" "Do not raise your voice at me young man! Now. Tell me, what's the second thing?" Dream looked confused. "Second?" "Yes. You said "well first," so what's the second?" Dream shrugged and walked over to the toaster. Grabbing a piece of toast he bites it and walks to the front door. "Sorry, im gonna be late to school.." "You come back here right now!" He shut the door.
Walking to his jeep he hopped in, started it, then drove off leaving his parents bewildered. Didn't have a care for anything at this point anymore. He pulled up to the school and parked. Walking in, he saw sapnap already on a new kid, a kid their age just.. new. New to the school.
"Sapnap!"
The kid had a bloody nose already. Dream doesn't know how long sapnap has been on the him though.
"Sapnap stop!"
Dream pulled him off the kid. "What were you thinking?! Look at him! He has blood on his face! On his face!" Sapnap looked at him. He shrugged. "He got in my way." "Oh in your way or you were just bored?" "Y'know what man? Get off me." Sapnap shoved dream. "Sapnap can you just please stop pushing me away." He stood straight up. "Apologize. Then maybe I'll consider." "For real man? Fine. I'm sorry. Not sure exactly what for, but I just want to be friends like we were again ok?" "Hmm alright." They shook hands and patted backs.
"Oh right what about this kid?" Sapnap stated. "Oh who even is it?"
The principal stepped in. "This is George, George Davidson." "New isn't he?" Dream asked. "Yup. Now, you two," he pointed to the office. "Shall we?" The two of them nodded. Sapnap rolled his eyes.
