{Rosalie Carter}
"Rose honey wake up. School starts in 20 minutes." My 'mom' said. Don't get me wrong, I love my aunt Hillary, but waking up before 10 A.M. and school I cannot tolerate. I mumbled an incoherent sound and sluggishly got out of my soft, warm, cozy bed and headed towards the adjoining bathroom in my room. After doing my personal business, I started on my makeup. There isn't any real routine for my makeup besides eyeliner, mascara, concealer, blush, and a colored lipstick. Today I chose to wear my classic red lipstick. For clothes, I just shrugged on my white emoji sweatshirt with my black, ripped skinny jeans along with my black platform booties.
Grabbing my phone and rushing downstairs, I picked up my bag and an apple and headed out the door and into my white Maserati. I know what you think, 'ohh look at the rich girl' but no. My mom had the same type of car and once I turned 16, I traded it in for a newer version.
The drive to school only took about five minutes. When I opened the car door, just about evryone's eyes immediately locked on my presence. What's new? Walking into the building, I spotted my two absolute best friends ever, Kacie Morales and Raicelynn Preston. I've been best friends with Raicelynn since I was three years old and Kacie since I transferred to Hillside Middle School when I was 13.
"Rosalie! Have you heard the news?" Kacie blurted out as soon as I walked up to the two anxious girls.
"What news?" I asked her.
"Dayton's back."
~~~~~~~~~
Dayton Alexander Winston, the total hottie with the bad ass act. My relationship with Dayton was never pretty. Constant bickering, name calling, countless detentions together. The dude basically started my bad girl reputation. Dayton was sent to some sort of detention school during the middle of sophomore year, which was fine with me. I sailed through the rest of 10 grade and all through out the rest of my high school years until now without the existence of Dayton Winston. After he left, I took over the role of the school's bad ass. A title that made me feel like someone was actually acknowledging my presence, even though it probably wasn't too great of a title to have.
The sound of loud talking and laughing came to a sudden stop. Kacie and Raicelynn looked around to see what caused the commotion to come to a halt, but I already knew what was happening. He was here. I turned to my locker, opened it and started grabbing the books I needed for my classes today. Just as I was about to shut my locker door, I felt the body heat of someone standing directly behind me. The strong smell of pine filled my nostrils.
"Rosalie Carter, what a surprise to see you here." A voice spoke in an extremely smooth and slightly deeper voice.
I turned around, only to find myself about an three inches away from the godly structured face of the one and only Dayton Winston.
"Why if it isn't THE bad ass himself, Dayton Winston. Finally got daddy to buy your way back into school?" I said, the sass evident in my voice.
"At least I still have my 'daddy' to do that for me." he spoke. You would think that this would make me burst out crying and slap him in the face, but no. As much as it hurt for him to say this, and as much as I wanted to punch the shit out of his face, I held my ground. I wasn't going to give into him that easily. I simply rolled my eyes, closed my locker door, and walked off to my class.
As the day went on, I realized that Dayton was in EVERY one of my classes. If only you could understand my pain. Fifth hour soon rolled around and which meant it was time for gym... with Dayton. I immediately noticed him as soon as I entered the gymnasium, standing with his 'group'. Dayton's group consisted of five boys including himself. The names of the people in his stupid group are Daniel, Jacob, Cameron, Blayke, and of course Dayton Winston himself. Their eyes soon landed on me as I walked further into the gym. A smirk soon made its way onto Dayton's face.
This should be fun.
