I giggled at Britt. She's so adorable. I finished eating and I put everything away. "Come on babygirl lets go get ready for the sprinkler." I said as I picked her up and kissed her cheeks making her blush and giggle. She danced in my arms singing "Mami tisses! Mes ots Mami tisses!" I love these moments. The ones where we can be ourselves and just be happy.
After I got both of us dressed, I took babygirl outside and turned on the sprinkler. "Go play babygirl" I smiled. "Mami will be right here." I sat down about 6 feet away from her and started planting in our garden. Britt likes to plant with me, but babygirl doesn't because she's scared of the worms.
A little while later Britt toddled over to me and yawned. I guess it's nap time. I wrapped her up in a towel and scooped her up in my arms and took her upstairs
"Mami it nap ti? Mes sweepy." Britt said her eyes closing shut and almost falling asleep. "Mes wuvs yous mami...wuvs yous foreva." She smiled really sleepily, still with her eyes closed and started mumbling things against my shoulder, shivering some. She must be cold now, I thought to myself as I carried her into her room.
"I love you forever too babygirl." I said as I dried her off and dressed her in her pjs. I rocked her gently as I sang Songbird, until she fell asleep.
