Chapter 10

The next day Jungkook came to university quite happy and satisfied. He had a good rest, he didn't have to pull an all nighter to finish his reports and assignments. Even the professor was surprised by his early arrival.

First things first, he needs to have a talk with Hoseok. He apologizes for his rude behavior the night before and ignoring his calls when he missed class. "I'm sorry for being an asshole."

"No worries." He giggles "You were probably doing heroic stuff"

He totally won't believe the news of him quitting soon. "Well about that..— What if I told you I'm gonna be on hiatus soon..?"

"You're kidding."

"Things happened and I just need a break." To his prediction, his best friend took it quite well. He nods his head in an understandable way. "I wouldn't blame ya."

Then he needs to apologize to Taehyung for his rude behavior. After that night his face was filled with nothing but crinkles on his nose. He didn't storm off but anyone could tell he wasn't in a good mood.

It made his experience horrible. Taehyung doesn't deserve that.

Upon looking around the classroom, he couldn't spot him. Weird. "Hey, where's Tae?"

"Speaking of which, did anything happen with you guys? He was absent, you were absent, I thought you guys fucked and couldn't get out of bed."

"What? No! You're gross." As much as how he could love for that to happen, that wasn't the case. He starts to worry that it's because of him that affected him to not come to class.

They didn't think much about it, they brushed it off thinking that maybe he's sick from all the sugar he had on the festival. Though it's definitely weird, Jungkook texted him last night and even then didn't get a read nor a reply.

Their answer lies in Jimin who storms in their conversation. He was visibly angry, so angry you could see veins popping out of his neck as he slams the table. "I have no fucking idea what you did but you better bring Tae back here or I'll kill you."

Jungkook's whole body shudders with the trigger word 'kill', it activates his flight or fight sensor but that didn't stop him from having all ears to Jimin's distress. "What do you mean?"

"Tae didn't come back. He didn't come back after that date you guys went to the festival." Jimin grinds his teeth, he was clearly angry.

This isn't a good sign. They are both roommates and if Jimin didn't see him that night— "Tell me, what did you tell him?!"

Hoseok can't watch this and do nothing. Jimin looks steamed,he's like a dynamite about to set off "Jimin, calm down." He held his shoulder.

"Fuck off, I am anything but calm." He shook him away.

This sudden shout and large wave of distress only affected Jungkook to do the same. If anything he really hates to be blamed. "We talked about how shit Spiderman is, that's all." He tries to remain calm but he too was suppressing his anger

"No." Jimin doesn't believe "There's something more that you're not saying. It can't just be some hero-"

"Well it was. We talked about how shit they were and then we went home." Jungkook was close to hitting himself when he said that.

"Did you reject him?"

Jungkook's lips hang open. "What?"

"He told me he was going to confess his feelings to you right at the firework show. Did you reject him? Cause that's the only fucking reason I would know for him to run away."
