[The Next Day at School]
“I swear, his smile makes my knees weak. It's so pretty. It makes me happy seeing him happy.” I tell my friends.
“Yeah yeah we get it, you're super whipped for him.” says Rosé, one of my best friends.
“Just confess to him already.” says Skylar.
“But what if he's not into dudes? Then what? What if me confessing ruins our friendship? What if he can't look at me the same because I make him uncomfortable?” I question, spiraling into an over thinking mess.
“I seriously doubt he'd end your friendship just over some feelings. And you never know, he might just feel the same. I mean, you guys are pretty close.” affirms Avery.
“Let's make a deal,” starts Skylar. “If you get 80% for maths this term then you have to confess to him.”
“You know what, that seems pretty unachievable, so deal.” I respond with a cocky smile.
I've never been bad at math but I'm not super good at it either. An 80%+ doesn't seem too unachievable but it does seem quite unlikely that I'll get it.
Suddenly, Felix approaches my friends and I.
“What you guys talking about?” he asks.
“Oh nothing, just important business.” replies Rosé in a devilish tone before looking at me.
Not sure if I want to get that 80% or not at this point to be honest.
