Y/n's POV
Fury's put me on a lot more missions recently and the lack of sleep is starting to catch up on me. One minute I'll be awake and engage in conversation, and the next I've fallen asleep with my head propped up on my hand. We were in a meeting and it was so boring. None of the information Fury was saying was new. He's told us how to be safe multiple times but he insists on telling us again.

I must've fallen asleep because I felt a elbow nudge my ribs. I looked to my right and saw Natasha, my girlfriend of 3 years, look at me with a sympathetic smile. She started writing something on her notepad and slid it in front of me. It read:

'Do you want to take a nap?'

I thought about it for a minute before nodding my head tiredly. Nat held onto my hand and excused us from the meeting. We made our way up to our room and once we got in she threw her hoodie at me. She knew I liked to sleep in her hoodies so she always let me sleep in one. I pulled it over my head and joined Natasha in bed.

She pulled the duvet over our bodies to make sure we were both warm. I placed my head on her chest just above her heartbeat. Within seconds my eyelids fluttered shut and I was asleep.
