chapter 4

Miyuki's pov:

"What do you think Ken-chin?" said Mikey, still holding me in his arms. "You left her crying in here."

"Crying? It's about Kaito isn't it?" said Draken, whilst putting his stuff down.
I looked up from the blanket and nodded
I told Draken about it, holding back tears. It was as if I ran out of tears. I was immune.

"To make you feel better, I bought you some treats you asked for last night," said Draken and handed me a bag of sweets.

I took it and smiled. "Thank you, Draken."
"That's the smile I was looking for," said Draken, patting my head. "Anyways, I was thinking how I should talk to him but I know you wouldn't want that." He added.
"Yeah, I don't want any conflict between you two," I replied.

"You two are still stuck in that position I see," said Draken, smirking. "Moved on already? As you should. Mikey's decent looking— Ow!"
"Shut up Ken-chin! I'm just comforting her!" Mikey said, kicking Draken's leg and hugging me tighter.
"It's okay Mikey, I'm better now, thanks." I laughed

"Really? But I give the best hugs!" said Mikey, pouting. "You do, and that's why I feel better now," I said, standing up. Draken shook his head and smiled. "You guys wanna go out? It's boring in my room," said Draken. We all said yes and left the building.

"I get to ride on your bike?" I gasped
"Mhm," Draken said
"You should get on mine, it's better than Draken's," Mikey said with a very proud expression on his face
"You really talk highly of your bike," Draken said

The two have been arguing about which bike I should be on. Finally, Draken gave up and let Mikey win.
"You'll get to ride on my bike next time," said Draken.

Mikey helped me up on his bike.
"Hold onto me so you don't fall, I don't mind, " said Mikey. I hugged his waist as he drove through the city. The wind was brushing past my face. The autumn breeze sent shivers through my body. This feeling; I feel at peace. I always loved the city, although it's busy, I just adore the scenery and buildings.

We arrived at the riverbank.
We sat on the grass, me being in the middle of Mikey and Draken. We sat there, talking about the most random things and getting to know Mikey more. He seems like a nice and genuine person. I can't believe he has never had a girlfriend before. His charming aura and soft smile.

"We should get back before sunset, " I said.
"Sure, I'll drive you home, I'll see you at the Toman meeting tonight Draken." said Mikey
"You don't even know where she lives, " Draken said, raising his eyebrows
"I can use maps and she's here to tell me, " Mikey shrugged.
"Fine, make sure she's safe and don't do dumb shit Mikey." said Draken

Draken hugged me before we left. "Glad to see you smiling again." He said before letting me go.
We part ways as Mikey takes me through the city on his beloved CB250T.

"Do you mind if I treat you some taiyaki? I'm getting hungry, " said Mikey
"No I don't mind at all." I said.
Mikey parked his bike and we both walked down the street to a shop to buy taiyaki.

I saw two people that I did not want to see today.
Kaito and his new girl.
"Is anything wrong? You kind of just froze." said Mikey.
"That's him." I pointed right in front of me.
The two were sharing a cup of ice cream on the sidewalk.  "Well we do have to walk past them— I have an idea! Hold onto my arms, don't worry." said Mikey and took my arms to wrap them around his.
"Ignore them, act as if you never saw them okay?" he added.

My arms were wrapped on Mikey's I tried my best to not look at them. As we were walking past, I can see Kaito's glance, looking at me as we both passed. I smiled at Mikey after passing them. I saw Kaito looking back at the corner of my eye. Isn't he over me? I guess he's shocked that I'm already holding someone else.

After buying taiyakis, Mikey drove me home with no problems. "Now I know where you live, now I can visit." said Mikey, "oh wait, what's your number?" he added. We exchanged numbers.

"It was nice meeting you Miyuki, we should hang out again soon. Without Draken." He said while mumbling the last two words but I still managed to hear it. Not so slick, Mikey.
"I'll see you around school, I never see you around but now we know each other which makes everything easier for us to see each other." said Mikey, giving me a smile
"Yeah I'll see you around, bye!" I waved at Mikey as I watched him drive away from my house.

I went inside my room and collapsed on my bed.
What an interesting day. I finally got to meet Draken's best friend. I thought he'd be more intimidating as people would call him the "invincible Mikey", but he's the opposite.

I got a message on my phone. It's Kaito.

what the hell are you doing with Mikey???
he's the most feared guy in tokyo, is
