Love On Ice

The First Meet

3rd Person POV

Taehyong is riding his bike in peace, listening to ___. He is riding his bike to go to the nearest ice skating rink, Taehyong lives in a small town so everything is close together but there are a lot of things to do. Taehyong looks at the scenery and realizes he has arrived. He gets off his bike and ties it to the bike rack, then walks into the building. Once Taehyong checked in for the evening he goes to put his skates on.

"I only have an hour before I need to go to my Hyung's hokey game, wait isn't it here? Oh well, that's not that big of a deal then." Taehyong muttered to himself as he finished tying his laces. He gets onto the ice and exhales, "Oh I've missed this, I've been too busy with school." Once Taehyong adapts to the new but similar feeling not noticing that someone else had entered the rink.

ALEX'S POV:

I'm is sitting on the bus scrolling through Tiktok when I hear the name of the skating rink called. I stand up and gather my things then get off the bus. I walk into the rink and say my name then the man at the reception gasps softly. "What is it?" I asked him the second I heard him gasp. He looked up then back at the paper then back at me, "Oh nothing it just seems to be I made a mistake while I was scheduling the hours." I look at him confused and asked what he meant, he said," Well it seems I have you and one other person scheduled for the exact same time on the same rink." I just stared at him, "Well I have to practice for my game tonight is it possible that I can still skate?" I asked wanting to get in at least an hour or two before the biggest game so far. He said sure but when I get in there I will have to tell the other man what had happened. 

Once I put on my skates and walked over to the rink I saw this man, he wasn't that tall but he was flawless at figure skating. He moved so smoothly, I take out my phone and click record, I only record for about 3 minutes before I remember my game. I quickly put my phone under my bag and got onto the rink, I skated over to the man and cleared my throat. He seemed startled to see me and lost his balance, the man fell onto the ground and groaned while standing up rubbing his lower back. "Oh, I'm sorry I just had to tell you something," I said as I rubbed the back of my neck. He just looked me in the eyes, wow his eyes are some of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The man asked what I had to tell him. I snapped out of the daydream and said, "Oh sorry the receptionist accidentally scheduled us at the same time and wanted to know if you were open to sharing the rink?" The man just looked at me, then he nodded and said, "Whatever, I'm only going to be here for like 20 minutes." I thanked him and went to go grab my stuff and practice.

-20 Minutes later-

Taehyong POV:

I was just leaving the ice rink and heading home to get ready for my brother's hockey game. I couldn't get him out of my head, he also was playing hockey maybe he will be there at the game tonight? No, I'm sure there are plenty of people in this town who can play hockey but just don't want to. After I get on my bike I plug in my earphones and listen to music as I ride to my house. I live in a small house in the woods, it's not that big but it's live able. I decorated the outside in remembrance of my mother and father, who is currently living in the US for a business trip.

Once I got home I went straight to my room and got changed into an outfit to go to the game, I look at my phone to make sure I'm not late but then realize that I only had 5 minutes to get there and it takes at least 20 to ride my bike. I run out the door after making sure I had everything and went to the bus stop. Once the bus stops I get on and give the man my card, then go sit down. I wait patiently for the bus to come to a stop, and when it finally does I get off and check the time, "Only 5 minutes late not too bad." I whisper to myself as I walk through the door. I put my phone back into my pocket and check-in I hear cheers from the rink I was skating on not too long before. I get seated in one of the seats left open and watch the game, I look for my brother but I accidentally saw Alex, "Huh I guess I was right earlier he was going to be here." I whispered to myself. He was on my brother's team, Haru, the team is called the hawks and they have won every game they played so far. I am proud of Haru and if he wins this one it will be the 10th win of this season so far!
